2026 Ravens Uniforms Revealed: The Next Flight Begins

NFL

On April 16th, 2026, the Baltimore Ravens revealed their new uniform combinations at Merriweather Post Pavilion in front of their PSL owners. The event was also an opportunity for fans to meet the newest coaches, see Ravens legends, the mascot trio of Edgar, Allan, and Poe, the cheerleaders, and Baltimore’s Marching Ravens. The video, which dropped at 7:45 p.m. EST, showed Derrick Henry, Lamar Jackson, Roquan Smith, Zay Flowers, and other notable Ravens rocking the new threads. The in-person reveal for the PSL owners showed a handful of other Ravens like Malaki Starks, Teddye Buchanan, Justice Hill, and newest Raven addition, Trey Hendrickson, rocking the new threads, ready for a new season, under a revamped coaching staff. “The Next Flight” uniform collection, which is the first major change to the closet in 28 years, featured four jerseys and three helmets with updated collar and pant stripe designs.

Jerseys

The uniform changes are huge, but in more subtle parts. The number font and the mottos remained the same, but fans immediately noticed an outline for the numbers and a set of raven wings on each of the collars. The purple, white, and black jerseys lost the gold shadow drop, but replaced it with a midnight purple and black outline, meant to emulate the iridescence of a raven’s feathers. To represent ‘Charm City’ wherever the flock flies, the away white jerseys will have “Baltimore” printed on the front, where the other jerseys, which will most likely be worn at home, will continue to say “Ravens”. As for collar designs, each of the three primary jerseys showcases a new design of raven wings, “spread wide in a threat display, signaling aggression and dominance." The wings also pay homage to the original Ravens logo with the outspread wings. The purple will have black wings, whereas the white and black will have purple wings. The jerseys also feature a new, re-imagined sleeve shield. The shield is the same for the purple and white jerseys, but for the black jersey, it has become two-toned to keep the combo as purple and black only.

Helmets

The Ravens unveiled three helmets with the four uniform sets, but one of them is not new. The primary helmet seems to be the same black base, with the bird head and pointed purple stripes. The purple rising helmet, which debuted in 2024, showed a vibrant matte purple with gold stripes, but the logo was the secondary “front-facing bird head.” In the newest release, the helmet swapped out the secondary logo with the primary bird with a “B”, to allow the purple helmet to be interchangeable with the other jerseys. However, the newest helmet is one that has never been seen before. With a matte black finish, the new “Darkness Falls” helmet has glossy stripes, similar to the other helmets, but this time, swapped out the primary logo with an all-black version of the secondary logo with red eyes.

Pants

What is possibly the most drastic change to the uniforms themselves is the addition of a pant stripe to all four uniform combinations. The “talon striped pants” invoke the sharpened claws of a raven, but it has a diagonal split to represent the Calvert crest in the Baltimore and Maryland flags. This addition to the pants is a great move, setting up a potential option for the rivalry uniforms set to hit the AFC North prior to the 2028 NFL Season. As always, each of the white, black, and purple jerseys can be swapped out with the white, purple, and black pants and/or the purple or primary black helmet.

Purple Rising

In 2024, the Ravens debuted a “Purple Rising” uniform combination, worn against the Bengals in each of the next two seasons. The Ravens kept the uniform in their wheelhouse, but made some changes to reflect the changes in the other uniforms. As mentioned before, the helmet swapped out the secondary front-facing bird for the primary bird logo, and similar to the other jerseys, the shadow drop was tossed for a basic white outline. The sleeve shield design was also changed to a two-tone set, having purple and gold as the color combo to match the rest of the jersey. Overall, fans were probably not expecting a full rebrand, but with the minimal changes made to the jerseys, I believe the best uniforms in the NFL will remain in Baltimore.
