Jets 2026 Two-Round Mock Draft: New York Jumps to Fourth Following Loss to Saints
Draft season is in full swing for the New York faithful, and the Jets have vaulted into the number four spot following their loss to the New Orleans Saints in Week 16. The team definitely needs an infusion of talent, as they look checked out going into the last couple of weeks. Luckily for them, they have an abundance of picks going into the next couple of drafts, with four picks in the first three rounds in 2026. How they use them will determine their success for the foreseeable future.
Round One, Pick Four: Arvell Reese, Linebacker, Ohio State
Arvell Reese is everything the Jets need. A big, fast, and physical linebacker who can rush the passer and cover. He fits the kind of defense the Jets want to run to a tee and is a key piece for the Buckeyes’ elite defensive unit. He’s also a great leader, having been named a captain, and someone whose personality aligns with everything Aaron Glenn has been preaching for the team.
Round One, Pick 18: Makai Lemon, Wide Receiver, USC
The Jets still need receiver depth behind Garrett Wilson. USC’s Makai Lemon would be an excellent second option. Lemon is a great separator and has natural hands as well. His technical ability as a route runner will be a great asset to whatever quarterback starts in 2026.
Round Two, Pick 35: Gennings Dunker, Tackle, Iowa
Iowa is known for pumping out top-tier NFL offensive linemen, and Gennings Dunker is no different. Dunker is listed as a tackle, but will most likely be a guard in the NFL. This is great news for the Jets, as they have two guards who are set to walk in free agency in John Simpson and Alijah Vera-Tucker. Assuming they keep Joe Tippman at right guard, where he has thrived, Dunker would be an absolute plug-and-play piece and really solidify their offensive line for the foreseeable future.
Round Two, Pick 45: Emmanuel McNeil-Warren, Safety, Toledo
The Jets need players all over the defense, and Emmanuel McNeil-Warren would be a really nice addition to their back end. They have one decent safety already in Malachi Moore, who’s really started to come into his own the past few weeks, but UDFA Jordan Clark has not. McNeil-Warren would be a steady hand to really lock down the back end of the defense. He’s a rangy guy who has great size for the position as well.
