Analyzing the Six Ravens Voted to the 2026 Pro Bowl Games
The NFL announced the AFC and NFC rosters for the 2026 Pro Bowl Games. Many players were snubbed, and a few made the cut after a rollercoaster season. The Ravens were one of four teams to have a league-high six players earn Pro Bowl honors after months of fan-based voting on NFL.com. Linebacker Roquan Smith, safety Kyle Hamilton, fullback Patrick Ricard, wide receiver Zay Flowers, center Tyler Linderbaum, and punter Jordan Stout are Baltimore’s representatives for the NFL’s low-contact version of an all-star game. Flowers and Linderbaum are reserves for the game, and alternates have not been announced as players will choose to opt out or be ineligible due to Super Bowl obligations. The purpose of this article is to analyze the Ravens who made the roster and the impact they have had on the Ravens through their tumultuous season.
LB Roquan Smith – Four-Time Pro Bowler
Roquan Smith has made his fourth Pro Bowl in eight years, including each of the last three seasons. Compared to the 2023 and 2024 seasons, Smith’s box score productivity has taken a slight dip, but that could be in part due to his two-game absence caused by a hamstring injury. While the eighth-ranked linebacker per PFF hasn’t forced a turnover himself, Smith has racked up 124 combined tackles, 74 of which were solo tackles, which puts him at fifth and tied for 11th in the respective categories. The former Chicago Bear has played moderately well, but is part of a Ravens defense that has struggled mightily in defending the pass. Smith has been guilty of missing a lot of tackles and not taking the right angles in pursuit of ballcarriers, but the leader of this defense is still a bright spot, playing on 838 snaps on defense in 13 games.
S Kyle Hamilton – Three-Time Pro Bowler
Kyle Hamilton burst onto the scene in 2022 as a spectacular player, but didn’t find himself starting many games until 2023. Hamilton quickly became a staple of the Ravens defense, signing a massive extension with the team and earning his third consecutive Pro Bowl nomination. Hamilton has been described as a Swiss-Army Knife, who can play anywhere on the field and be extremely impactful. While Hamilton missed one game in 2025 due to injury, he has fought through numerous ailments and found his way onto the field. Hamilton is regarded as one of the best safeties in the entire NFL and is very deserving of this honor. The former Notre Dame safety has yet to record an interception, but has batted away eight passes, forced two fumbles, and recorded 92 total tackles, 51 of which were solo. Although the defense has improved since the acquisition of Alohi Gilman via the Odafe Oweh trade, the Ravens would be significantly worse without Hamilton, and fans will be deeply saddened if he were to leave the team for any non-legal reasons.
C Tyler Linderbaum – Three-Time Pro Bowler
Drafted in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, Tyler Linderbaum was immediately put into the starting lineup, acting as the starting center in each of the 64 games he has appeared in. Linderbaum finished seventh in the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year voting and was voted to three consecutive Pro Bowls in the seasons that followed. Linderbaum has been responsible for crucial double-team blocks in the interior of the line while pass blocking against A-Gap blitzes or star nose tackles. 2025 has not been his best season, but that is largely due to the lack of success from both left and right guards, Andrew Vorhees and Daniel Faalele. The former Iowa Hawkeye is still one of the best centers in the NFL, but gets a lot of backlash because he plays between the two weakest links on the entire team.
FB Patrick Ricard – Six-Time Pro Bowler
The Ravens are a fullback factory. From Vonta Leach to Kyle Juszczyk and now Patrick Ricard, the Ravens have found another gem and hope to keep Ricard for the rest of his career. Baltimore is one of the few teams that roster a fullback and consistently use one, but that is why the Ravens' rush attack has been so deadly over the years. 2025 is an outlier to the Ravens' rushing dominance, but Ricard has been extremely valuable to the Ravens this season, despite only playing in nine of the 15 games so far. With Ricard on the field, Derrick Henry’s yards per game increased by 20 yards per game. However, in many games this season, the Ravens have been playing from behind or struggling in the first half, leading to fewer runs, which, while it is not the topic of this article, is a conversation for another day. The 31-year-old Ricard has been voted to his sixth-career Pro Bowl, all in the last seven years, tying Mike Alstott for the second-most Pro Bowl nods as a fullback, behind former Ravens FB Kyle Juszczyk, who has made 10 consecutive Pro Bowls as a versatile contributor to both the Ravens and 49ers.
P Jordan Stout – One-Time Pro Bowler
Making his first Pro Bowl in his young four-year career, Stout has been playing at a different level. This could be due to the offensive struggles within the offense that lead to more punts rather than field goals or touchdowns. Nonetheless, Stout has effectively flipped field position on many occasions, pinning the opposing offense or at least booming the ball that makes up for a Baltimore three-and-out inside their own 30-yard line. Stout has punted 48 times this year for an average of 50 yards per punt, or 45 net yards per punt. His best moment came in the win over the New York Jets, when he boomed a career-long 74-yard punt and then followed it up with a 67-yard punt later in the game. His 61.5 yards per punt from that game is the sixth-highest of any punter in a single game, dating back to 1960. Stout is in a contract year, and while special team specialists like kickers and punters historically don’t make great money, the Ravens should try all they can to keep their best punter since Sam Koch retired in 2021.
WR Zay Flowers – Two-Time Pro Bowler
The Pro Bowl nomination for Zay Flowers has two very different reactions from ball knowers. Yes, Zay Flowers is the first receiver to be drafted by the Ravens and make a Pro Bowl. Zay is also the first drafted Ravens receiver to have consecutive 1,000-yard seasons. However, in 2025, Flowers has recorded more fumbles lost than receiving touchdowns. Although Flowers has not scored a lot and turned the ball over, he is still top four in targets, receptions, yards, and yards per game among all AFC receivers. It is just a tad surprising that someone has just as many turnovers as total touchdowns still made the Pro Bowl, but there weren't many options. In contrast, the NFC was only able to nominate four of the eight 1,000-yard receivers compared to the three in the entire AFC. Although he made another Pro Bowl, Flowers’ future in Baltimore has to be discussed.
In conclusion, congratulations to the six Ravens and all other fan-voted Pro Bowl nominees, because although the Pro Bowl has shifted away from a true all-star type game, it still recognizes the league's brightest stars. The 2025 Baltimore Ravens have struggled this season, but it is nice to see a league-high six Ravens earn the honor. The number feels high considering the struggles Baltimore has been through this season, but it still recognizes individual player success more than a team record or playoff position. Tune into the 2026 Pro Bowl Games on Tuesday, February 3rd, on ESPN starting at 6:30 p.m. EST with the flag game at 8:00 p.m. EST. The game will air on ESPN, Disney XD, and ESPN Deportes.
