Aston Martin Announces Lance Stroll’s Return
The latest updates about Lance Stroll's participation in the Canadian Grand Prix are finally here. Aston Martin has confirmed that Stroll will be on the track for the upcoming race weekend, following his withdrawal from the Spanish Grand Prix. He underwent a procedure after experiencing pain in his hand and wrist, but the Canadian driver has apparently been cleared to drive for the race. The medical consultant Stroll went to is in the belief that the pain was due to a separate procedure the driver underwent in 2023. He had fractures and a broken toe after a cycling accident back in the 2023 pre-season. It led him to have surgery, and he was also in rehabilitation.
In his latest procedure, things seem to be looking up for the Aston Martin driver, and he will be back, ready to drive for his hometown crowd in Montreal. Here’s hoping things do not worsen for his joints and bones. Hopefully, in this race, the driver will be able to control his car in ways for the better, as many incidents have occurred involving him so far this season and in the last few races. There is a plan by the Chief Trackside Officer, Mike Krack, for Stroll to be back in the action of racing. His second plan is also in play just in case of need, leaving two drivers, including Stoffel Vandoorne, on standby for Stroll, yet both are supposed to participate in this weekend's 24-Hour Le Mans.
It seems Stroll is excited to be back racing for his team and is ready to continue the season as he drives in his homeland. It does leave one to wonder if he will improve after his procedure. Only time will tell if the Canadian has what it takes and continues on racing in a team effort. Make sure to stay up to date on the latest news and updates, and be sure to watch the upcoming Canadian Grand Prix on June 15th. It is sure to be a spectacle and a test to see if Stroll can either drive through the pain or not.
