Can Seattle Recover as a Team After Week Seven Injury Reports?

NFL

We have about three to four days left until kickoff with the Seattle Seahawks and the Houston Texans. Unfortunately, this also means that we have had a few more players on the injury docket. Some of them were on the list from Week Five, and some are new. So, for today, I am going to list them out and possibly get an idea of how much of an impact these players would have on the season with these injuries placed upon them. Now, let’s get into the list, shall we?

First up, we have Derick Hall, who is a linebacker for the current Seattle roster. He has an oblique injury, with an unspecified status of being able to play in Week Seven’s game. Next up is Josh Jones, who is a guard and tackle. He has an ankle injury, unspecified status as to whether he will play for this upcoming game, too, much like Hall. DeMarcus Lawrence is a linebacker, just like Hall. He has been out since Week Six, but has no injury listed, resting for the time being.

Julian Love is a safety position, out with a hamstring injury, same with Nehemiah Pritchett, who is a cornerback for the team. Jarran Reed, who is a Nose Tackle for Seattle, is out with a knee injury; undetermined if he will play on the field come next Monday, much like all the other players so far. Leonard Williams is a defensive player for Seattle. He has an NIR injury and is also undetermined to be able to play on Monday. The last two players on the list here are Devon Witherspoon and Riq Woolen, who are both cornerbacks on the team roster. Witherspoon is out for a knee injury as of now, and Woolen is out for a concussion at this time.

All of these players could have a big impact both on and off the field. Though due to their unspecified playing status at this time, there is no real certainty whether or not they’d be able to make it back on the field before the 2025 season is over. So for now, Seattle will have to find suitable replacements in the meantime. We, as fans, and I myself can only hope that these players can make very speedy recoveries as much as they can. To be able to get them back on the field with as much energy as they possibly can give back to the team.
