Can the Seahawks Save Themselves Before They Fall Face First?

NFL

The 2025 season is drawing to a close, with just three games remaining for the Seattle Seahawks to play this year. With Seattle preparing for Thursday Night Football against the Rams, this will be the second matchup this season between the two teams. Despite that game being a really close call, could Seattle come up for their revenge at Lumen Field? It’s possible, even with LA and Seattle having the same record between each other at 11-3 this season. Seattle has the home-field advantage for this upcoming game. Perhaps they can use the 12th Man to their advantage and come out on top, or slip through the cracks for a close victory instead of a close loss this time around.

This upcoming game could go a lot of ways, depending on how Seattle’s offense plays. Hopefully, they will play as they did against the Vikings and Falcons, where they just demolished them until the final whistle, against very poor defensive lines. Maybe luck will be on Seattle’s side going into this final stretch to close things out. Hopefully, Seattle can keep using that energy to make more field goals using their kicker, Jason Myers. Myers, plus the tag team that has practically been unstoppable in Sam Darnold and Jaxon-Smith Njigba, who have been the critical duo for most of Seattle’s victories this season. Even if Sam Darnold had been in deep trouble at the beginning of the season, they look to hopefully keep their recent momentum going through the final group of games to end this season and make a strong playoff push.

It has been an interesting season overall for Seattle so far, to watch as a fan and as a writer. With lots of ups and downs overall, there really has and hopefully will not be a single truly bad game this season. That is mainly because of Seattle actually trying and will continue to try and hold on as much as they can. With a pile-up of their players being out on injury leave week by week over the course of the season. Though I can only hope and pray that Seattle doesn’t toss and tumble on their way to the finish line from here on out.
