Chiefs Keys to a Victory in Week Four

NFL

The Chiefs look to even up their record to 2-2 this Sunday when they host Lamar Jackson and the Ravens. The offense has been solid; however, the run game will have to make a big improvement for this weekend. If the Chiefs want to get some serious momentum going, Isaiah Pacheco is going to have to step up his game. Not to mention Travis Kelce, because silly turnovers and costly penalties are not going to allow you to win, especially against a team like the Ravens. I am feeling more confident with Patrick Mahomes’ playstyle recently, as he is showing signs of what we know he is capable of on the football field

With the Baltimore Ravens coming to KC in a few days, we will definitely have to set up a good game plan. The horrible run game, as well as the offensive penalties, have continued to find a way to negatively impact the Chiefs one way or another this year so far. We must correct these things as soon as possible. There are some promising things to remember, though: including Rashee Rice returning in a few weeks, hosting the Ravens, who we find a lot of success against, and the fact that we got our very first win of the season just about two days ago. There is no reason to get all confident and excited, though, because the Chiefs still have a lot to prove, and not only that, but the Chiefs definitely are capable of playing better quality football.

To sum things up, the Chiefs should without a doubt feel great going into Week Four. They definitely got their confidence back in Week Three, and should be nothing but positive heading into this Sunday’s game. However, if they want to make a deep playoff run, let alone make the playoffs, they will need to take their play up a notch and start to showcase all of the talent that they have. While things are starting to trend in the right direction, I expect to see a lot more from them as the season goes on. This is great news for the Chiefs, and I look forward to watching them continue to improve.
