Cincinnati Bengals Quarterback Is Ready for a Comeback Season
The Bengals are preparing themselves for another season. It’s not the whole team that needs to find the focus; it’s the team's quarterback, Joe Burrow. Burrow has not had the greatest seasons in the past few years. This quarterback has been spending time trying to rebuild and put himself back together to show that he and his team are ready to prove what they have got. He doesn’t want a bounce-back year but is prepared to bring the heat to the field this coming season.
Burrow has dealt with multiple things on and off in the past few years. Last season, he dealt with a wrist injury in his throwing hand in Week 11 in a game against the Baltimore Ravens. It resulted in surgery ending his year right then and there. Burrow was also dealing with personal issues at home. Seasons before that, he dealt with an ACL tear and a pinky finger dislocation. It’s been one thing after another for him, and he hasn’t gotten to finish much of the season he has been a part of.
However, this star quarterback has been seen at the practices this offseason. It didn’t take long for him to jump back in and start making connections again. He wants to be a part of it all and prove to his team that he can be there for them. Burrow questioned everything after his last injury because of how much he had received in the past few years; however, he kept his mindset on the game he loves to play. This year, he wants everything to be different.
Burrow has an offensive line that he can use to make things work. He has Ja’Marr Chase, who is locked in and has always been one of his long-term weapons. During this offseason, the team has spent a lot of time trying to rebuild the offensive line, so Burrow has more protection and can get the ball out quicker. They have added veteran help to the team, too, which can put things full speed ahead for them.
It’s not just about the physical area for Burrow; it's also about the experience he will bring. This 28-year-old is entering his fifth year with Cincinnati, and at this point, he is comfortable and has complete command over the team. Even when he was out, he has always led them in the best ways possible. He also knows how to read the defenses at the moment of play. Burrow is still getting better and better every week.
This season is going to be his return year. The last time the Bengals saw a Super Bowl was in 2021, and he led the way despite their loss to the Los Angeles Rams that year. Burrow is healthy, confident, and ready for anything this season will bring him. He will continue to be praised for everything he has done and will continue to do. Burrow has always been set on a Super Bowl, which might be the case this season.
