Former Giants Wide Receiver is Heading to the Titans

NFL

After having a major breakout season for the New York Football Giants, wide receiver Wan’Dale Robinson has hit free agency, but didn’t last long. He has moved on from being a part of Big Blue and gone off to play with the Tennessee Titans. His contract is worth $78 million over the next four years, with a $38 million guarantee. After being successful in New York, many teams were looking to fill their wide receiver corps and give their wide receiver room more variety. Many NFL teams had seen everything he accomplished this season, and Tennessee knew they had to have him.

This star wide receiver was a part of the 2022 draft class. New York was looking for a player who would be able to zoom downfield and be shifty at the line of scrimmage, and they got him. The Giants drafted him in the second round as the 43rd overall pick out of the University of Kentucky. While with the Wildcats, Robinson was a weapon for them, helping the program move the ball and produce on the field. Robinson knew how to take handoffs and make them work to his advantage. Since then, he has been a New York Giant, following through when the team has asked him to.

Robinson’s last season with the Giants was an explosive one. The on-field type of action is what fans and analysts were waiting to see come from this young wide receiver. He reached well over 1,000 receiving yards for the first time in his NFL career and started in nearly every game last season. He played in 16 out of the 17 games during the season, catching 92 out of 140 targets, and in the midst of it all, he scored four total touchdowns. The Kentucky alumnus was the guy that Jaxson Dart turned to in his time of need when the offensive line was losing players at the start of the season due to injuries that occurred on the field.

Now that Robinson has moved on, he is going to be paired up with quarterback Cam Ward, a dynamic duo that NFL fans did not see coming in 2026. With how well Robinson played for Big Blue, there is no doubt that he is going to be just as great for the Titans. They are truly lucky to take on this speedy wide receiver. He may forever be a New York Giant, and the franchise may have missed out on re-signing the 25-year-old, but the Titans definitely now have something to work with on their offense.
