Former Haas Team Principal's New Role in MotorGP

You know his face, you know his humor: the one and only Guenther Steiner. He was the shining star of the Netflix show, Formula 1: Drive to Survive, with all of his sass and wit. Steiner was the Haas Formula 1 Team Principal from 2016 to 2023. He was the quirky guy everyone wanted a photo with, and from his kind spirit to his outbursts on race day,  Steiner is missed by all. After he departed from the Formula 1 world, fans and those in the paddock were stuck. He did not stray far, as he stayed in the loop as a commentator, Formula 1 analyst for broadcasts, and race ambassador for the Miami Grand Prix.

It has been announced that Steiner will switch from four tires to two, as he will obtain the role of CEO at Red Bull KTM Tech3 for MotoGP. If MotoGP is not something you are familiar with, it is a form of motorsports. MotoGP uses motorcycles instead of karts and cars. Steiner will attain full ownership of Tech3, and with his experience in Formula 1 and the motorsports world, there is a high chance the team will be better than ever. With this new transition, the ongoing Tech3 boss, Hervé Poncharal, will have a role in the consultancy portion of the sport by the end of the season.

While Steiner is missed by fans and racers alike, he will make a mark on yet more people in the motorsport world. From his genuineness to his competitive nature, the racers in MotoGP are lucky to call this pure soul their new upcoming boss. It is known that Guenther Steiner is more than a CEO and a former Haas principal; he is a friend, a son, a husband, and a father. He is the son of a butcher and studied engineering, but did not complete his degree. He moved to Belgium and began his career as a mechanic in the World Rally Championship for the Mazda Rally Team from 1986 to 1988. Since 1986, he has been in the racing business, making his mark from team to team, and he will further his career and experience yet again. Now, with such a massive reputation, this is his next step on the ladder, and we cannot wait to see what he does within the MotoGP world.
