How Has the Chiefs QB Refueled Their Offense Since Their 0-2 Start?
When it comes to the Kansas City Chiefs, one thing is for certain: Patrick Mahomes is the face of the franchise. He is 30 years old, a three-time Super Bowl Champion, NFL MVP, and is who some people consider to be the best person on planet earth to ever touch a football. He has completely refueled the offense during his time in Kansas City, and more specifically this year, has definitely given us the blueprint for what it takes to succeed as a football team both on and off the field. Without him, who knows what kind of team the Chiefs would be. His close bond with Travis Kelce has also been something that has helped lead the Chiefs to more victories, considering how good of a friendship they have and the fact that they are one of the best QB-TE duos to ever play in the NFL. Another key thing to mention is that they have Rashee Rice back, which is a big boost for the offense and team as a whole.
With the Chiefs now sitting at 4-3, they have come a long way this season and that is for sure. Kansas City started at 0-2 which is horrible, but the man, the myth, the legend, Patrick Mahomes has been there to save the day time and time again. He has performed at an incredible level this season, and as a Chiefs fan I am very grateful for that. He does what it takes to put the team on his back and lead them to victories consistently every year. He shows up when it matters most, and usually somehow finds a way to have the Chiefs end up getting the win. We are very lucky to have him on our side and wearing a Chiefs uniform.
Overall, the Chiefs have a long way to go this season if they want to compete for another Super Bowl. The AFC West has gotten much more talented and competitive, and that is something that will push the Chiefs to play even better football. There is also a lot more talent in the NFL as a whole, as teams continue to get better and better. I hope to see the Chiefs continue their momentum as the season goes on, with Patrick Mahomes being the face of the team and the city of Kansas City.
