Is 2026 the Year ‘Big Mami Cool’ Turns on Judgment Day?

WWE

The Queen of the Ring tournament offers the Women’s Division the opportunity to challenge for the right to earn bragging rights over the other superstars while also rewarding the winner of the tournament with the opportunity to challenge for a world title of their choosing. There are 16 women who are gunning for the crown, and within the tournament, three of those women belong to Judgment Day. While Roxanne Perez has already been eliminated, Raquel Rodriguez and the Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan, are still in the tournament, hoping to go all the way to the end and win the crown. While both women will hope to win the entire thing, a possible showdown between the two could provide the perfect opportunity for Rodriguez to come out on top over her best friend and set in motion her eventual split from Judgment Day.

Since arriving to the main roster in 2022, ‘Big Mami Cool’ has slowly made her impact in the Women’s Division. She’s won multiple tag team titles but has yet to win the big one. Ever since she joined Judgment Day, she’s become more aggressive in the ring and has impressed with her in-ring work. Her friendship with Morgan has opened many doors for her throughout the years, including multiple title opportunities. However, Rodriguez has always seemed to come up short when it’s her time to challenge for the title, and in her recent attempts to capture a world title on the main roster, her worst enemy seems to be her very own peers.

Rodriguez has expressed her interest in becoming Women’s World Champion multiple times to her peers, but always seems to be pushed away by Morgan. When Rodriguez and Morgan entered the Royal Rumble, Morgan would take advantage of a distracted Rodriguez and throw her over the top rope. Morgan went on to win the Rumble and successfully challenged for the title against Stephanie Vaquer to become the new world champion at WrestleMania 42. A few weeks before the match happened, Rodriguez was given another opportunity to challenge for the world title, and just when it seemed that she had the win, Morgan interfered and accidentally cost Rodriguez the shot at the title. Even though Rodriguez has taken a backseat in the world title pursuit, the animosity could still be lurking within her, and now with the Queen of the Ring tournament taking place, Rodriguez could not only avenge her multiple losses but also finally get revenge against Morgan for all the times she’s been wronged by her.

To ensure the breakup and Rodriguez comes out looking like the face in this situation, Rodriguez must go on and win the Queen of the Ring tournament. Whether or not she eliminates Morgan to win the tournament falls on whether WWE will pull the trigger on the turn early or later on. Once Rodriguez wins the tournament, Morgan will have no choice but to see ‘La Ruda’ as a genuine threat to her title reign and will have to make the difficult choice of turning on her best friend to ensure that she remains champion for a long time. Rodriguez is more than ready to become world champion, and winning the title off of Morgan would be the icing on the cake for one of WWE’s most underrated superstars in the Women’s Division.
