Is Raw’s Top Faction About to Meet Its End?

WWE

Over the past few years, Judgment Day has been one of WWE’s top factions on Raw. Despite superstars joining and leaving the group, Judgment Day has consistently remained on WWE television. However, with every group’s successes and triumphs, there comes a time when a faction has to meet its eventual demise. Judgment Day has managed to overcome every single obstacle, but is the group’s time together finally about to reach its end?

On the Raw after the Elimination Chamber, Dominik Mysterio put his Intercontinental Championship on the line against Penta. Concerned about the possibility of losing the title, Mysterio requested help from his Judgment Day partners Finn Bálor and JD McDonagh. Even though Bálor was reluctant to help Mysterio out, he obliged. Near the end of the match, Mysterio asked one of his partners to bring him the ring bell hammer. Although McDonagh brought the hammer, it was Bálor who stopped McDonagh from handing over the hammer, telling him that Mysterio had to do this all on his own. This led to Penta taking out both members of Judgment Day and eventually picking up the victory over ‘Dirty Dom’ to become the new Intercontinental champion.

Whenever Judgment Day feels that one of its members is no longer a suitable match for it, the other members of the group plot against them and turn on them. It happened when Bálor joined Judgment Day, when members Edge, Rhea Ripley, and Damian Priest felt he was the perfect candidate to add to the group. However, it was planned all along that, with Bálor’s addition, Edge had to be kicked out of the group. After adding Mysterio and McDonagh to the group, it was time to kick Ripley and Priest from the group, officially removing all the original members of Judgment Day. With Bálor seemingly taking CM Punk’s advice and being at peace with his loss at Elimination Chamber for the World Heavyweight title, followed by Bálor’s unwillingness to aid Mysterio in his title defense, Judgment Day could see Bálor as a liability.

Bálor isn’t the only member of Judgment Day with problems within the clubhouse. For months, Raquel Rodriguez has attempted to win the Women’s World title from Stephanie Vaquer, with multiple title opportunities coming up short. Despite knowing that her tag partner desperately wanted to become world champion, Liv Morgan took advantage of a distraction at Royal Rumble 2026 to eliminate her own tag partner. Rodriguez let the elimination slide, but in another attempt to dethrone Vaquer, Morgan would interfere in the match despite Rodriguez telling her not to get involved in the match. This led to Morgan costing Rodriguez another world title opportunity. In the clubhouse, it seems as if Rodriguez has forgiven Morgan for her past transgressions, but deep down, Rodriguez might be boiling with anger about her best friend costing her another chance at the world title. This dysfunction can only go so far before Rodriguez eventually repays Morgan for all her mistakes, which in turn will lead to Rodriguez being kicked out of Judgment Day.

Even though the quote “families fight” has been said multiple times in the Judgment Day clubhouse, it doesn’t mean that the past is all forgiven. There are too many situations happening within the faction to ignore, and the seeds of separation have been planted little by little. It is only a matter of time before someone decides they no longer want to be a member of Judgment Day, which will result in them being booted from the group. Whoever the group decides is no longer of value is the one who will meet their fate.
