New York Jets Two Round Mock Draft Following Win vs Bengals
The New York Jets have found themselves in the win column for the first time in 2025. It was a much-needed bounce back for the entire team. Justin Fields played well, Aaron Glenn had some good decisions in crunch time, and the defense stepped up when it really mattered. Though the vibes are much higher in Florham Park, something that is lower following the win is their draft pick. The Jets find themselves falling behind the New Orleans Saints in the race for the number one pick. They tumble to the second pick in the draft, with a potential franchise-altering player being picked at their spot.
Round One, Pick Two: Dante Moore, QB, Oregon
Fernando Mendoza, the consensus QB1 at this point, goes first to the Saints, but Dante Moore is no mere consolation prize at two. Moore is a former five-star recruit with tons of talent as an NFL quarterback. Moore exudes confidence and has every bit of mental toughness to handle a place like New York and their media. He showed this by going into Penn State during the Whiteout and beating them when they were the third-ranked team in the country. His mix of confidence and talent are exactly what the Jets should be looking for in a franchise quarterback. He’s been compared to Deshaun Watson as a prospect, and could be the answer to a 15-year quarterback problem for New York.
Round Two, Pick 34: KC Concepcion, WR, Texas A&M
With their early second-round pick, the Jets decide to try and surround their new quarterback with some new weapons. KC Concepcion is a great compliment to Garrett Wilson and would really help the Jets round out their receiving core. New York has already experienced how the rest of the receiving room looks when their recently-paid receiver is out, and they need to get another weapon or two added there. Concepcion is another good separator, and although he isn’t the biggest, being listed at 5’11” and weighing 187 pounds, he can still make people miss and create after the catch. He also seems to embody the aggressiveness and toughness that Head Coach Aaron Glenn wants to instill into this team.
