UFC

Abeta Gautier has made a powerful start to his UFC career with a very bright future ahead of him. At only 23 years old, Gautier has solidified himself as one of the most exciting young fighters in the Middleweight Division. The Cameroonian native made his way to the UFC through the Contender series where he impressed many with his powerful finishes. He also has been called “Mini Ngannou” as he and Francis Ngannou have many similarities and are both from Cameroon. Ngannou dominated the Heavyweight Division during his career, with many powerful finishes

Having fought all the way from Cameroon, to training in Manchester, eventually making it to the UFC… “Mini Ngannou” is definitely a fitting name. Along with them both having incredible power and intimidating physical fitness. His UFC debut was in March of this year where he mounted a first round knockout victory against Jose Medina. He followed this performance with a fight against Robert Valentin at UFC 318, where he also earned a first round victory by TKO. These performances caused a lot of buzz around his name, leaving many to believe that he could be the next big thing. He continued to prove the fans right in his UFC 320 performance, where he dominated Tre’Ston Vines. This fight looked easy for Gautier as he had total control of the fight and gained another first round TKO. He also accomplished this in only one minute and 41 seconds. This has him with three straight wins and zero losses so far to start his UFC career.  While he is still young, the next moves he makes in his career are very important. Continuing to dominate middle tier opponents will help him rise in the ranks, which can lead to him seeing some tougher opponents eventually. With the proper training and gameplan, Gautier could solidify himself as a serious competitor in the Middleweight Division. He is eager to fight and grow, all with the goal of being the champion one day. Right now, his strength and power have been his strong suits. If he can work on his wrestling and overall cardio, he can definitely take over the division.

Abeta Gauntier has a very bright future ahead of him, along with a lot of hype behind him. He has incredible power and a scary physical presence in the Octagon. With more impressive wins, Gautier can definitely make his way to the top of the division. This is only the beginning for a young power hitter in the Middleweight Division.
