Predicting Championships That Will Change At NXT Stand & Deliver 2026

WWE

The March 31st episode of NXT was the final episode before the brand’s biggest show of the year, Stand & Deliver. This year’s event has one match on the pre-show and six matches on the main card. Five out of the six matches on the card are for a championship. With it being NXT’s biggest show, there’s bound to be multiple championships that change hands. Stand & Deliver is just a few days away, so it’s time to determine which new superstars could be walking out of St. Louis with gold around their waist this Saturday, April 4th.

NXT Tag Team Championship

The Vanity Project has been a new staple within the Tag Team Division, and it was extremely interesting when they chose to put Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor over DarkState on the February 24th episode of NXT. At first, before Los Americanos officially became the top contenders for the title, there was no way this belt was leaving such a new and fresh tag team that had just started their reign less than 40 days ago. Yet, with it being official, Los Americanos going against The Vanity Project at Stand & Deliver, I don’t see Smokes and Baylor holding these titles after NXT’s biggest show of the year. Los Americanos are too popular; their rise in stock over the past year and them being an asset to WWE, especially in the Mexican market, has been exponential, it only makes sense for this duo of Bravo Americano and Rayo Americano to hold tag titles, not a main roster tag belt, but with NXT, it allows the group to train and help the younger talent grow.

NXT Women’s Championship

In her second reign as NXT Women’s Champion, Jacy Jayne has held gold for 134 days; both her reigns combine for more than 280 days. For the superstar no one expected to beat Stephanie Vaquer and become NXT Women’s Champion, Jayne has had a solid 2025 and start to 2026. However, it seems clear she’s going to lose this title at Stand & Deliver. During the conclusion of the March 31st episode of NXT, the main event of the show, which would determine the opponent of the two-time NXT Women’s Champion in St. Louis, ended in hysteria when Lola Vice was pinned by Kendal Gray, while Gray was also tapping out to Vice. By the time the episode went off air, they did not have a conclusion of what was going to take place Saturday night for this championship match. Presumably, the NXT Women’s Championship match at Stand & Deliver will be a triple-threat, not giving Jayne the champion odds she would have hoped for in comparison to a regular singles match. As much as I would like to see, Vice deserves her flowers as champion, but I’m more unsure by the day she won’t be winning a title in NXT. Just like Bianca Belair, Vice will eventually receive a huge push once on the main roster. The assumption is that Gray wins the NXT Women’s Championship alongside WWE Women’s Speed Champion, Wren Sinclair, as the WrenQCC has two champions within the group.

NXT Championship

As much as it’s been nice to have the We Believe movement in NXT, it’s time Joe Hendry and two of his challengers at Stand & Deliver, Ricky Saints and Ethan Page, be moved up to the main roster. Saints and Page have paid their dues in NXT, while Hendry should continue rising as the popular, growing superstar he is. Tony D’Angelo is the one superstar from the match who hasn’t been NXT Champion yet. It’s time that happens, and we see ‘The Don’ run NXT. D’Angelo has been in NXT for five years; it’s about time he gets the opportunity to become the face of the brand. Eventually, with the amount of young talent in NXT, the plan would be to have one of these rising superstars eventually defeat him for the title. However, ‘The Don’ deserves a proper run with the biggest title NXT has to offer, and he deserves to win it on the biggest stage at Stand & Deliver.
