Top Standouts from WWE Evolve... So Far

WWE

WWE Evolve continues to be a standout show since its debut 10 weeks ago. This show showcases the future stars of the NXT brand, who could go on to make the main roster. Several wrestlers have stood out amongst the rest, and will look to continue to build momentum in the coming weeks after the announcement that new championship titles are coming to the brand. So, who has made a name for themselves in Evolve? Let’s dive in!

“Super” Sean Legacy

Sean Legacy is one of the first WWE ID Prospects to make a name for himself on the brand. In the first episode of Evolve, Legacy picked up a win in a six-man tag team match in the first main event of the show. He picked up another huge win over Timothy Thatcher, a former Evolve Champion from back when the promotion was an independent. Legacy has put on impressive matches on Evolve, and his work has been recognized by WWE Officials, who have put him on NXT in front of a new audience in two of the next three weeks. Legacy will be one of the participants in the Fatal Four-Way match to crown the first WWE Evolve Championship. Due to the opportunities that he has earned, Legacy will be one of the betting favorites to win this match.

Kali Armstong

The most dominating force in the Evolve Women’s Division is an absolute powerhouse. The Inglewood, California native has been on a tear since making her debut in the first match on Evolve. Kali Armstrong is undefeated in singles competition and is the odds-on favorite to become the first WWE Evolve Women’s Champion. Armstrong uses her strength to dominate her opponents, and she is getting comfortable on the mic. She is not the most polished wrestler, but in due time, Armstrong could be a name to watch out for in the NXT Women’s Division.

The Vanity Project

This is the newest group formed in WWE, and they are comprised of a bunch of young stars who want to make a name for themselves. Brad Baylor, Ricky Smokes, Zayda Steel, Jackson Drake, and Bryce Donovan all have the potential to make it big and be huge stars in the WWE. Baylor and Smokes are a tag team and call themselves Swipe Right, a nod to what singles do on Tinder when they like someone. Steel is a future star in the women’s division and was the first WWE ID Prospect that the company signed. Drake has put on some good performances when given the opportunity. However, the biggest draw in this group is Donovan, the muscle of the group. Donovan is a mysterious dude who does not like to talk, but when he gets in the ring, he is an absolute force to be reckoned with. It would not surprise fans if he earns an opportunity to be in the Fatal Four-Way Match for the Evolve Championship. The Vanity Project are the biggest heels on Evolve and believes that they are better than everybody. They are the hot, good-looking group that you wanted to be a part of in high school, but you didn’t have the juice to get in. Steel and potentially Donovan will get opportunities in the weeks to come to add championships to the group, and if they do, watch out because this could be the start of something special for the group.
