What Should the NXT Women’s Championship Match Be at Stand & Deliver 2026?
After gaining an opportunity for Jacy Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship on the February 24th episode of NXT, Sol Ruca was betrayed by her best friend and tag team partner, Zaria, as she destroyed the former NXT Women’s North American Champion in a fit of rage. Zaria demanded a championship opportunity from Jayne the following week based on what she did to her former friend. On the March 3rd episode of NXT, both Zaria and the NXT Women’s Champion went back and forth with one another. That was until Ruca came out, hit both women with her patented Sol Snatcher, causing a disqualification. Jayne does not have a match at NXT Vengeance Day, Saturday, March 7th, which means she most likely won’t have a championship match until Stand & Deliver. With the match not starting for Ruca, and then her interfering in the championship match the week later, does this mean the ZaRuca feud will crossover with Jayne and the NXT Women’s Championship?
Jayne mentioned on the March 3rd episode that she wanted nothing to do with the ZaRuca feud, but it seems like, with the way things are headed, that both the former NXT Women’s North American Champion and Zaria will be tied up over Jayne’s NXT Women’s Championship. Zaria is jealous of all the opportunities Ruca has received since their friendship started to develop. Ruca is a former NXT Women’s Speed Champion and NXT Women’s North American Champion, but has also challenged for the TNA Knockouts Championship and the NXT Women’s Championship. Zaria hasn’t received an opportunity for any of these, and when she had the chance to defend Ruca’s North American Championship, she lost the title to Blake Monroe. Zaria’s jealousy will continue to fuel this feud between her and Ruca, but how does this put Jayne in the eye of the storm between the two of them?
Since the beginning of their friendship, Jayne and the rest of Fatal Influence mocked ZaRuca and tried to tear them apart from the get-go. It was clear from the past two weeks that the NXT Women’s Champion wanted Zaria to do her dirty work in order to not face a difficult challenger like Ruca, then Jayne was banking on the former NXT Women’s North American Champion to come out and disrupt her match with Zaria before it even started. Ruca made both women fight it out and then caused a disqualification after the two superstars looked exhausted. The NXT Women’s Champion and Zaria’s envy towards Ruca will continue to ignite the flame for this feud until Stand & Deliver.
A triple threat among these superstars could steal the show. NXT has the best Women’s Division in the world for a reason. Jayne’s prowess in the ring, Zaria's strength, and Ruca’s athleticism could make this an unforgettable tale at Stand & Deliver. NXT fans have been waiting for the ZaRuca feud to boil over. Now that we’re here, the possibility of the NXT Women’s Championship being on the line makes it so much sweeter.
