When Will Roman Reigns Return to the WWE?

WWE

Roman Reigns has been absent from WWE since the Raw after WrestleMania 41. This episode saw him get speared and taken out of action by Bron Breakker, who aligned himself with Seth Rollins and Paul Heyman on that same night. Since then, Rollins and Breakker have been able to do whatever they have wanted to, including forcing world champions into title matches. The question now is, when will Reigns return and try to put an end to this new faction?

It’s been reported that the OTC is set to come back around the time of WWE Money in the Bank, which takes place on June 7th. However, an even more important date than that is June 2nd, which is when the Raw before MITB takes place. June 2nd, 2014, was the day that Seth Rollins attacked Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, officially putting an end to The Shield. It’s certain that when that day comes, The Visionary will remind the world that he was the one who ruined Reigns’ life.

The entire Roman Reigns story since the start of The Bloodline is that he cannot trust anyone, and he has built an ego complex because of that. However, that all started when Seth Rollins took a steel chair and stabbed his brother in the back almost 11 years ago. Reigns’ entire WWE career has revolved around the day The Shield ended, and now it will be the reason why he finally makes his long-awaited return. Given the fact that CM Punk, Sami Zayn, and Jey Uso have all been feuding with Rollins, there is a good chance that the team fans saw at Survivor Series 2024 could reunite at Survivor Series 2025.

When Roman Reigns returns, it may all be leading to another Bloodline reunion. Although Jimmy Uso is doing his own thing on SmackDown, Sami Zayn and Jey Uso have been trying to take down Heyman’s new faction. With Rollins indirectly being the reason why The Bloodline was formed in the first place, it would make perfect sense for him to end the faction for good. Rollins vs. Reigns is building up to be the hottest feud of the summer, as the two men who defined the WWE over the past decade will continue what is arguably the biggest story in wrestling history.
