Which Locations Could Host WrestleMania 43 in Case of Relocation in 2027?
As the situation in the Middle East continues to unfold, WWE will have to make a difficult decision on whether or not it will hold its upcoming shows on Saudi Arabian soil. One of the biggest shows that Saudi Arabia will be hosting is WrestleMania 43. Even though the show is set to take place in April 2027, there’s still uncertainty about how long the problems in the Middle East will actually last. If they continue the same or even worsen, it might leave WWE no choice but to move WrestleMania somewhere else or even stop booking PLEs in Saudi Arabia in general. It wouldn’t be the first time WWE relocated WrestleMania, so it’s something they should be able to handle as swiftly as possible. Which locations could WWE possibly move WrestleMania to if necessary?
New Orleans, Louisiana
One of the places that could host WrestleMania 43 just so happens to be owed a WrestleMania. New Orleans was supposed to host WrestleMania 42, but WWE found itself choosing to go back to Las Vegas after the city decided to make a large bid in order to host the biggest show of the year for a second straight year. After losing the bid to Las Vegas, WWE promised New Orleans a future WrestleMania and a PLE. WWE gave them Money in the Bank, which ended up being postponed from its original date. What better way to make it up to New Orleans than to give them the one show they never got to host in the first place. The last time WrestleMania took place in New Orleans was WrestleMania 34, and it would make sense to host it here once again after so many years away.
Mexico City, Mexico
WWE could still host WrestleMania outside the United States if they decided to go south of the border to Mexico City. There are many factors that could play in WWE’s favor in deciding to host in Mexico, such as their growing relationship with the country following the purchase of Lucha Libre AAA and the recent tourism the country has gained. One of the best places to host WrestleMania 43 would be in Estadio Banorte, home to Mexican soccer team Club America and one of the hosting stadiums of the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Throughout the tournament, Mexico proved it could host a major event and welcome tourists from all over the country. With Mexico also being the birthplace of lucha libre, it’s only fitting that they finally host their first-ever WrestleMania.
Las Vegas, Nevada
This is the last place WWE fans want to see host another WrestleMania, but it could be host to yet another WrestleMania if the money is just right. WWE already showed that it will move PLE locations if it means they can make a profit, and after Las Vegas hosted back-to-back WrestleManias, a third straight WrestleMania for them isn’t necessarily out of the picture. TKO, which owns the WWE and UFC, could look to make Las Vegas a permanent home for all combat sports, and making Sin City the home of WWE’s biggest show of the year would lock that in for good. Many fans would not be happy with the decision due to soaring prices and lack of tourism in the city at the moment, but WWE would be more than happy to host it in Vegas once again.
