Who Should Be in the Next Wave of NXT Call Ups in 2026?
At the beginning of 2026, we saw the likes of Oba Femi, Trick Williams, Je’Von Evans, and Lash Legend get called up from NXT to either Monday Night Raw or Friday Night SmackDown. Even with the fresh new wave of young talent down in NXT, there are still a ton of superstars who are main roster-ready. There’s a chance we’ll see more superstars called up as early as the episode of Raw after WrestleMania XLII. The big question is, who will those future main roster stars be?
Ethan Page & Ricky Saints
Both ‘All Ego’ Ethan Page & Ricky Saints, former AEW superstars who switched companies, have flourished over in NXT. Both are former NXT Champions, and while Saints is a former NXT North American Champion, it was Page who defeated him and still currently holds the championship after 250+ days. These two have been main roster-ready since the moment they entered NXT, yet being on the brand has seasoned these superstars even more on what’s to be expected once they hit the main stage. Saints made his NXT debut one year ago, while Page has been with the brand for almost two years. Currently, the current North American Champion is set to face Shiloh Hill on the February 17th episode of NXT for the title. ‘The Absolute’ attacked current NXT Champion Joe Hendry after his successful defense against Jackson Drake of The Vanity Project. Once the two former NXT Champions start and end their feuds for this year’s Stand & Deliver, it should be time to bring both Page and Saints to the main roster.
Jacy Jayne & Fallon Henley
The current NXT Women’s Champion, Jacy Jayne, has had a championship reign no one could have expected. She’s prevailed against all who have come her way and is currently set to face the top contender for the title, Sol Ruca, in two weeks when NXT heads to Atlanta. Ruca and Zaria’s relationship is about to burst, all because Sol took this opportunity that Zaria desperately wanted. It’s very well possible that Zaria interferes and costs Ruca this championship match in Atlanta. Which begs the question, who would Jayne face at Stand & Deliver? Eventually, once a challenger defeats the current NXT Women’s Champion, Jayne and the rest of Fatal Influence will be at a weak point. Fallon Henley would continue to defend her WWE Women’s Speed Championship, while Lainey Reid would continue to grow her young career. Once Henley loses her title, the best option would be for Jayne and Henley to ditch Reid, move to the main roster, and continue as a tag team, vying for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship picture. Having these two within the Women’s Tag Team Division would help the division grow further. Also, adding more talent and allowing Jayne and Henley to work with some of the best female wrestlers to date, who currently hold weight within the Women’s Tag Team Division. It would be best to wait some time after Stand & Deliver before both members of Fatal Influence move to the main roster.
Blake Monroe
Former NXT Women’s North American Champion Blake Monroe is also a former AEW star who has grown into a blossoming future main event star for WWE’s main roster. While she’s never held the NXT Women’s Championship, she still has had plenty of memorable feuds within her nine months on the brand. From her friendship and then feud with Jordynne Grace to Ruca & Zaria, and Thea Hail. While she’s currently feuding with Jaida Parker, that shouldn’t last until Stand & Deliver. Monroe should have a fresh opponent for this year’s Stand & Deliver, and then immediately make her main roster debut on Monday Night Raw following WrestleMania. She’s a great talent who could go on to have great battles with some of WWE’s best female superstars once she makes her move to the main roster.
