Heading into Crown Jewel this Saturday, WWE Women’s World Champion Liv Morgan believes she’ll easily get past WWE Women’s Champion Chelsea Green and will win her second Women’s Crown Jewel Championship. Green has been doubted throughout her career, even when she won the Interim WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam, and then when she actually became WWE Women’s Champion after Rhea Ripley had to vacate the title; many thought Green would have a short reign as champion. However, the former two-time Women’s United States Champion has proved the doubters wrong by defeating the likes of Nia Jax, Roxanne Perez, and Nikki Bella. Yet, even with the strides Green has made as champion, Morgan continues to mock her. Which champion will prove the other wrong at Crown Jewel and become the 2026 Women’s Crown Jewel Champion?
During the October 12th episode of Monday Night Raw, Green went to shake Morgan’s hand, only for the Women’s World Champion to laugh in her face. Morgan claimed they were not equals and that the former two-time Women’s United States Champion was a mere “placeholder champion”. A few weeks later, on the October 30th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, the Women’s World Champion took further shots at Green, bringing up the WWE Women’s Champions’ struggles in the company. Morgan called the former two-time Women’s United States Champion a joke and useless, while also bringing up how Green has been released twice and that if she were to be released from WWE a third time, nobody would notice. The WWE Women’s Champion did not back down, however, calling her opponent "Dominik Mysterio’s placeholder girlfriend". Green vowed to walk out of Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, as the greatest women’s champion of all time.
Both women have had their respective allies within this feud. Morgan has The Judgment Day girls, Perez and Raquel Rodriguez, while Green is aligned with her best friend, the winner of the 2026 Women’s Money in the Bank Match, Tiffany Stratton, as well as Iyo Sky. In a singles match against Perez on Raw, Green was distracted by Morgan and Rodriguez, which cost her the match. During the November 2nd episode of Raw, a six-woman tag match occurred between all the women mentioned above. Morgan hit Green with Oblivion to pick up the win and the momentum before Saturday’s matchup.
It seems destined that Perez and Rodriguez will interfere on Morgan’s behalf, and then Stratton and Sky will come out to make the save. The big question is whether The Judgment Day will play a bigger role than anticipated, or if Stratton will think to use her briefcase, whether that’s on Morgan, as she’s teased in the past, or potentially on her best friend, Green. Stratton tried cashing in on the WWE Women’s World Champion until Mysterio pulled Morgan out of the ring and Stratton could give the briefcase away. A slight distraction by Stratton could be everything Morgan needs to pull off the win and claim her second Women’s Crown Jewel Championship.
My prediction for this match is that Morgan comes out on top, takes her second Women’s Crown Jewel Championship with force, and continues to show the WWE Universe why she is the greatest Women’s World Champion of all time, as she would say. I believe Green will be beaten badly in this match, so much so that Stratton grabs her briefcase and makes the move to cash in on her best friend. Stratton will hit the Prettiest Moonsault Ever on Green to win her second WWE Women’s Championship. This cash-in would solidify a heel turn for Stratton, while the former two-time Women’s United States Champion will go on a redemption tour for the title.
