Who Will Win the Weapons Wild Match at Halloween Havoc 2026?

WWE

Back in 2022, both Myles Borne and Tavion Heights debuted in NXT. Both men would eventually join the No Quarters Catch Crew before both defeated leader Charlie Dempsey to leave the stable. Borne and Heights would win the NXT Tag Team Championship from Ricky Smokes and Brad Baylor of The Vanity Project before dropping the titles in 25 days back to Smokes and Baylor at NXT Heatwave, the same premium live event where Borne also lost his NXT North American Championship to The Vanity Project’s Jackson Drake. This is where Borne would turn on his former best friend, attacking Heights on multiple occasions. This rivalry has gotten so big that NXT Halloween Havoc host Danhausen has decided to raise the stakes for this match, with his druid spinning the wheel to officially make it a Weapons Wild Match.

During the October 27th episode of NXT, both Borne and Heights were surrounded by a wall of security guards while airing out their grievances. Heights asked the former North American Champion, “Really, Myles, you got all this security just so I don't throw you into that fifth row right there?” while Borne shot back, saying the security wasn’t there to protect him, but rather to save Heights from him. The former North American Champion accused Heights of being a parasitic partner, with Borne claiming that Heights had leached off his success, which eventually cost him everything. Borne bragged that he won that title entirely on his own, while Heights couldn't achieve anything without latching onto someone else.

Heights countered by admitting he lost sight of who he was when they were the NXT Tag Team Champions, but Borne’s betrayal woke him up. The former Olympian reminded the crowd of who he was, and Heights explained he thrives most with his back against the wall. Heights then called himself a "weapon in human form" and "God of suplexes." Borne told his former best friend that he was living in past glory, to which Heights replied that he was going to give an ass-whopping Borne can actually hear. This is when Danhausen’s voice appeared over the loudspeaker and decided this match needed to have the stakes raised. The druid would spin the wheel, making it a Weapons Wild Match for Halloween Havoc.

A Weapons Wild Match will have a bunch of weapons placed around the ring, with no disqualifications, and the winner must get the pinfall or submission inside the ring. With all the weapons at their disposal, both men will let out their frustrations and hatred for one another. Chairs, kendo sticks, ladders, tables, and more could be used during this match. Borne and Heights will let out an all-out war during Halloween Havoc.

My instant reaction tells me that Heights will win this match so he can eventually feud with Drake for the NXT North American Championship. However, my gut tells me that Borne wins this match and enters the NXT Championship picture to eventually square off against Grayson Waller. Borne was in a top contender match for the NXT Championship before losing to Tony D’Angelo because of Heights. If I had to choose, I would say Heights win just because a loss won’t set back this new version of Borne tremendously.
