Why ‘Tiffy Time’ Should Win the 2026 Women’s Money in the Bank Match

WWE

Back in July of 2024, Tiffany Stratton won the Women’s Money in the Bank Match and waited until December to cash in on then WWE Women’s Champion Nia Jax. Now, two years later, ‘Tiffy Time’ has qualified for Money in the Bank and will look to pull down the briefcase for a second time. She qualified for the final spot on October 2nd by defeating Tatum Paxley and Candice LeRae. No women’s superstar has held the briefcase twice, so having Stratton win would be a historic feat.

Since arriving on Friday Night SmackDown back in February 2024, ‘Tiffy Time’ has done it all on the blue brand. She’s won the WWE Women’s Championship as well as the WWE Women’s United States Championship, competed in WarGames, fought Hall of Famer Trish Stratus, and competed against a future Hall of Famer in ‘The Queen’ Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania. At this year’s Royal Rumble, Stratton was the runner-up, and in her home state of Minnesota at SummerSlam, she competed in the Ladder Match for the vacant WWE Women’s Championship, which was won by her friend Chelsea Green.

Green’s WWE Women’s Championship reign has been a game of cat and mouse, with SmackDown general manager Nick Aldis wanting her to vacate the title due to a broken orbital bone, but allowing Green to keep the title if she can defend it within 30 days. As her friend, Stratton has come to the current WWE Women’s Champion’s aid; however, it is costing ‘Tiffy Time’ her health and time, as she is constantly helping defend Green while getting beat up in the process. This will make Stratton tired, annoyed, and angry, which will eventually help her turn heel on her friend. While this is the feud we’re anticipating to see, it wouldn’t make a lot of sense for ‘Tiffy Time’ to need the briefcase to cash in on Green.

Having Stratton turn heel and face Green is what we want to see. However, ‘Tiffy Time’ should consider looking at Stephanie Vaquer’s Women’s World Championship as well if she wins the briefcase for a second time. Vaquer is putting her title on the line in a Triple Threat Match at Money in the Bank against Becky Lynch and Liv Morgan, so a win at the start of the show for Stratton could mean an eventual cash-in during this match. The former WWE Women’s Champion has not been a part of the red brand before, and this would open the door for new feuds and interesting matches against some of Raw’s best. Lynch, Morgan, Iyo Sky, Sol Ruca, and more.

A second run with the briefcase would be interesting, as she could pull a Naomi and switch brands completely, but if Stratton wins and Green is still WWE Women’s Champion, all eyes should be on ‘Tiffy Time’ looking to become a two-time WWE Women’s Champion. Stratton’s two years on the main roster have seen her popularity be elevated tremendously as she becomes one of the most respected women in the locker room. ‘Tiffy Time’ will be competing against other amazing young women with a ton of talent; she has the most experience and has won the Money in the Bank Match before. The edge is on her side.
