Will The Giants Sink or Swim This Season with Their New Schedule?

NFL

The NFL just released its 2025 regular season schedules for the year. The Giants definitely have their work cut out for them regarding a majority of their games this coming season. Most likely, it is not going to be a pretty season unless they can pull off upsets during some of these games. If the Giants work hard, they can stay afloat for the season and possibly make the playoffs. However, if this team sinks, it will be back to the drawing board once again for the entire franchise.

The first few weeks for the Giants are going to be tough. They are on the road for the first two weeks, playing against the Washington Commanders and the Dallas Cowboys. The Giants have lost all their games in their last match-up every time they have played against Dallas. Following playing Dallas, they will take on the four-time Super Bowl champions, the Kansas City Chiefs, and several weeks later, they will take on the current Super Bowl Champions, the Philadelphia Eagles. There are no breaks for the Giants when it comes to playing these teams. A lot of these games in the first half will be prime-time games. The Giants will definitely need to step it up if this is the case, if they want to be back on top.

The second half for the Giants seems to have slowed down. They played easier teams such as the Chicago Bears, the Green Bay Packers, the Detroit Lions, and one of their bigger rivals, the New England Patriots. However, this is after they take on some of the bigger teams around the league. Things may turn around for them, and they will need to win at least seven of their eight games to make the playoffs.

The Giants had a great draft this year, and that said, they should be able to keep themselves together this coming season. They also don’t have as much of a young team as they did last season. This coming season, their team will have more experience with players such as Tyrone Tracy Jr., Malik Nabers, among a few others. They have also added players that have done well in college, such as Cam Skattebo, Abdul Carter, all who are going to make things happen for the Giants. They have spent a lot of this off-season trying to fix their team and make it be what it once was, Super Bowl worthy. There should be no reason for them to have any downfalls this coming season. It may look like a difficult road ahead with their schedule, but the Giants just need to keep their heads together in order to make things work and reach the playoffs at the end of this regular season.
