WNBA Announces All-Star Reserves

The WNBA has announced the reserves for the 2025 All-Star Game, which will take place on July 19th at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis. This marks the first time Indianapolis will host the league’s midseason showcase, and excitement is building as the city prepares to welcome fans from across the country. This year’s All-Star Weekend will include a skills challenge and three-point contest on July 18th, followed by the main game on July 19th. With record-breaking fan engagement and growing interest in the league, the 2025 All-Star Game is expected to be one of the most-watched and celebrated in WNBA history.

The initial selection of WNBA All-Stars was based on a weighted voting system that included input from fans, media, and players. Fan voting accounted for 50 percent of the total, while a national panel of media members and current WNBA players each contributed 25 percent. Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark and Minnesota Lynx forward Napheesa Collier received the highest number of fan votes and were named team captains. They will draft their rosters ahead of the game, selecting from the pool of starters first, followed by the reserves. Team Clark will be coached by Minnesota’s Cheryl Reeve, while Team Collier will be led by New York Liberty head coach Sandy Brondello.
