WWE Stand & Deliver Predictions

WWE

It is WrestleMania week, and the Silver and Black brand will present their annual Stand and Deliver Premium Live Event on April 19th. This event is voted by the fans as being the best NXT PLE every year, and rightfully so because the card is filled with star power and storylines that have fascinated fans and are worthy of being included during WrestleMania season. This year's matches should be fun and intriguing to watch. Now it is time to predict who will be the big winners at Stand & Deliver.

WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships Number One Contenders Match

This match will be on the Countdown to Stand & Deliver Kickoff show and will be a great tone-setter for the rest of the event. It will be a Fatal Four-Way match pitting Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade teaming up to take on Meta-Four, Fatal Influence, and Chemical X, with the winning team receiving a Women’s Tag Team Championship match on the April 22nd episode of NXT. I predict that Perez and Jade will win this match as it seems that those two are set for a long-term story build that will culminate in one final match between them. Perez is due for a main roster call-up soon, but we have seen superstars bounce around between NXT and the main roster. So, it is plausible for her to do the same in a rivalry with Jade.

Winners: Roxanne Perez and Cora Jade

The D’Angelo Family vs. DarkState

NXTs new formidable group gets its first PLE spotlight and will pick up a big win against the D’Angelo Family. DarkState are the newcomers, and for fans to take them seriously they have to rack up victories and win dominantly. They already have a victory over the main event of Stand & Deliver and will pick up another victory over one of the mainstays of the NXT 2.0 era. If the parking lot brawl between these two groups was any indication, this match would be filled with jaw-dropping spots that could lead to, “NXT”, and “This is Awesome” chants.

Winners: DarkState

Fraxiom vs. Hank and Tank-NXT Tag Team Championship Match

The team of Hank and Tank have been trying to find ways to get better as a team for the past several weeks. The results have not been great as they had not won a match until they got a victory in a Tag Team gauntlet match to become the number one contenders for the titles on the April 15th episode of NXT. However, can they pull the upset and beat Nathan Frazer and Axiom for the titles? The answer is yes because that has to be the big payoff for Hank and Tank, and because Fraxiom is due for a call-up to the main roster they will lose the titles at Stand & Deliver.

Winners: Hank and Tank become the new NXT Tag Team Champions

Ricky Saints vs. Ethan Page- NXT North American Championship Match

The battle between two former AEW stars that the billionaires' kid fumbled will be on display under the bright lights of Las Vegas. Ricky Saints has taken the NXT Universe by storm and quickly won the North American title in only his third match on the brand. That did not sit well with Ethan Page, who has been jealous of the attention that Saints has been getting and wants it back for himself. I predict that Saints will pick up the win here as he continues to build his foundation on the Silver & Black brand. As for Page, a main roster call-up could be on the horizon for “All Ego.”

Winner: Ricky Saints retains his championship

NXT Women’s North American Championship Ladder Match

For just the second time in the history of this championship, it will be won in a ladder match. The six women in this match consist of a former champion and five others looking to win their first championship on NXT. Kelani Jordan won the first ladder match back at Battleground last July. She has experience in this match, but I do not expect her to win it the second time, and I look for WWE officials to give the victory to someone new. This opens the door for Sol Ruca, Zaria, Lola Vice, Izzi Dame, or Thea Hail to win their first championship. I do not think Dame will win this because she is too green and has not competed in a big-time match like this since last year’s Stand and Deliver. Hail recently returned to NXT and is the overwhelming crowd favorite, but I think she is much better as the underdog. She needs to chase the championship and win it from somebody rather than win this big match. This leads to Zaria, Ruca, and Vice, and any one of these three women could win it but I have to give the edge to Vice. She is due for a run with a championship and has the support around her. Winning this championship could serve as a tune-up for her to eventually return to the main event scene in the future.

Winner: Lola Vice becomes the new NXT Women's North American Champion

Stephanie Vaquer vs. Giulia vs. Jaida Parker vs. Jordynne Grace-NXT Women’s Championship Match

In what could be the match of the night, Stephanie Vaquer will defend her title against three of the best women on NXT. After her huge win at Roadblock, Vaquer has been on a roll, but she will face her toughest test as champion to date. Jordynne Grace, the Juggernaut, is not a stranger to NXT, and since signing with the brand, she has made her intentions known that she is coming for the NXT Women’s title. Her pure strength will be on display in this match, as will the athleticism of Jaida Parker. Ms. Parker has quickly become a crowd favorite and she has made progress with her in-ring work since her last title match at No Mercy last October. However, the biggest shocker was when Giulia returned to NXT seeking a rematch against her friend. Giulia has shown some heel tendencies recently, claiming she doesn’t care about the friendship she has with Vaquer because she wants her title back. All four women could stake a claim to win this match, but I got to give the nod to Vaquer as it is too soon for her to drop the title after vacating the North American title. She is over with the fans, and a rivalry over the summer with Giulia should be the next direction WWE officials go with this feud.

Winner: Stephanie Vaquer retains her championship

Oba Femi vs. Trick Williams vs. Je’Von Evans-NXT Championship Match

The main event of Stand & Deliver will be a hard-hitting contest between three men who do not respect each other. Oba Femi will walk into this event for the second straight year with a championship. The Ruler of NXT is a dominant force to be reckoned with, and it will be a challenge for Trick Williams and Je’Von Evans to beat him. However, I think one of them will win the title with some assistance of course. So, who will it be Williams or Evans? Williams has been on the verge of crashing out ever since losing the championship to Femi at New Year’s Evil. All he is thinking about is getting it back, while Evans feels disrespected by both Femi and Williams. He first came to both of them about help with DarkState, but when they did not help him he dropped both of them. Since then, Evans feels he can take the championship from Femi and win it at the expense of Williams, essentially getting payback on both men for refusing to help him. This match will be filled with high-flying moves from Evans, but it will not help him win this match. I believe that Williams will regain his championship with the help of DarkState, and it will be revealed that he is the leader of the group after all. Williams will go full-blown heel and will take the next steps in his character growth. The once heartful babyface will be a tenacious heel, and his affiliation with DarkState will be the biggest shock of the night.

Winner: Trick Williams wins the NXT Championship and aligns with DarkState
