Can the Seahawks Continue Their Winning Ways Against the Cardinals in Week 10?
The Seahawks made yet another victory on their 2025 season record last night. Beating out the Commanders by a 24-point lead by the end of the fourth quarter of the game. Could this be the continuation of a hot streak for the team itself? One that would take them all the way through the playoffs and to the Super Bowl this season? That would only be truly possible if they kept playing with the same energy and teamwork that they had on that field last night in Washington. A lot of amazing things happened that night, but now we look forward to seeing what the team can come up with going into Week 10 against Arizona this coming Sunday.
That possibility of yet another win next week could be in part due to how connected and focused the team felt last night, with Sam Darnold being in sync with the rest of the team for his entire playtime out on the field during the second and third quarters. Along with Jaxon Smith-Njigba just being able to rack up more and more receiving yards like it’s nobody’s business this season. He is shaping into his own unstoppable force for the team. He should be able to keep up that pressure, along with the pushback that the rest of the team can hopefully keep bottled up for future games.
Yet going back to Darnold, I think that personally, the strategy that he has is with how he was able to make as many passes as he did so easily. It has to be either pure luck or a stable enough strategy that knocked Washington off its feet. Now there needs to be some mindset that can keep tripping up future defensive lines, but especially Arizona’s defense, if Seattle wants to get a seventh win this season. That can also be in part due to how Seahawks safety Ty Okada was able to catch Jayden Daniels off guard and not let Daniels pick up the slack after the interception.
The dominant energy and speed are the main keys to helping Seattle score more wins in future games. While also racking up more and more receiving yards, passes are made between players, as well as having intense precision when it comes to making plays out there on the field. Though if one thing is for certain, any negativity I had as a fan for Sam Darnold, specifically when he became a Seahawk, has all but disappeared at this point. So I hope that he can continue to improve as the season goes on, much like the team as a whole.
