The Vision remains one of the top factions on Raw despite multiple injury setbacks. With the group now holding the tag team titles, it’s really difficult to see who can step up to challenge for those belts. However, after constant attacks on Pénta and Je’Von Evans, the pair have decided enough is enough and formed a partnership to try to take the gold from The Vision. At Crown Jewel 2026, an unlikely duo will step up to the plate and challenge Austin Theory and Bron Breakker for the World Tag Team Championship. Can The Vision fend off the opponents, or will new champions be crowned in Saudi Arabia?
To say that Pénta and Evans have gotten under the skin of The Vision over the past few weeks would be an understatement. ‘The Young OG’ first caught the tag team champions' attention after qualifying for the 2026 Money in the Bank ladder match. Breakker challenged Evans to a match on Raw, but it ended in a disqualification after the rest of The Vision interfered. After Pénta made the save for Evans, both men took on The Vision in a tag team match the following week on Raw, where they would pick up a huge win against the champions. With Money in the Bank around the corner, one might think their issues would be forgotten, but they only got more complicated.
At Money in the Bank 2026, ‘Cero Miedo’ was the last man standing atop the ladder had he retrieved the briefcase and became Mr. Money in the Bank. This angered Breakker, who believed he was robbed of the opportunity to win as Evans kept preventing him from climbing the ladder. One of the most memorable moments of the match came when Evans returned in an ambulance following a brutal spear from ‘The Badass’ that left him incapacitated. Evans would almost become Mr. Money in the Bank after reaching the top of a huge ladder, when suddenly, Breakker would push Evans off the ladder and straight through the ambulance roof. Despite the brutal impact, Evans was still on Raw the next night to congratulate Pénta on his victory. Although everything seemed fine, The Vision wasn't content with how it all transpired.
After congratulating Pénta, Breakker entered the ring and speared Evans, then attacked the Mexican luchador. The Vision felt they were robbed of a grand opportunity at Money in the Bank 2026 and wanted revenge. While Pénta hoped to be focused on figuring out which champion he should cash in his Money in the Bank briefcase on, The Vision changed those plans. The next week on Raw, Pénta defeated Breakker, fueling The Vision’s anger even more. One week later, both Evans and Pénta would be laid out by The Vision. While both men were being checked up by medical backstage, they told Raw general manager Adam Pearce that they wanted an opportunity at the titles to get their revenge. Pearce accepted their request, and the showdown between the two teams was scheduled for Crown Jewel 2026.
Pénta and ‘The Young OG’ already have a victory over The Vision and will likely carry that momentum, along with their desire to get one over on one of Raw’s top factions. On the other hand, Breakker has become a loose cannon over the last few months, and he's unpredictable and dangerous inside the ring, no matter who steps in front of him. While The Vision seemed poised to retain their titles at Crown Jewel 2026, you can never truly root against the underdogs. A win for Pénta and Evans would shake up the Tag Team Division on Raw, while also giving The Vision a reason to run rampant every week. One team will come out on top, but will it be The Vision or the underdog duo?
