Four Seahawks Rookies and Veterans Who Have Stood Out During the First Four Weeks
It’s been a very interesting season so far for the Seattle Seahawks to start things off this year. From a somewhat rocket start in training camp, to then a one-loss game streak, after that three back-to-back wins, the following three games starting from Week Two up until now. Also, there was an opposing team injury last Thursday that may or may not have been the catalyst to help win that night’s game in Arizona. Could this mean that luck is truly on Seattle’s side this year, with the immense potential to make it all the way to the playoffs, or even the Super Bowl? Though that last part sort of seems more like a pipe dream than anything else. Today, I am going to highlight four players who have shone the most out there during the first four weeks of the 2025 season.
Our first highlighted player is Elijah Arroyo, who is a rookie from the University of Miami. Drafted this season to the Seahawks, he is in a tight end role for the team. He has tracked 82 yards in total so far, averaging about 16.4 yards as well. His usage and impact on the team could be useful in shaking up opposing defenses, depending on the plays made in each game. While he is only just starting, he has a promising career ahead of him with how good his stat record is.
Our next player to highlight here is Michael Dickson. He has been with Seattle for eight seasons straight now, averaging around 48 yards, with over 259 in just week one alone. He is one of the punters on the team roster. Making over 14 punts in this season so far. Looking at his stats, I can totally see how much of an impact he has made already, and why Seattle has decided to keep him this long. Though in my eyes, with how he is going now, if he keeps this up, he could be one of the best players on the team overall, if his stats are anything to go by.
After that, it’s AJ Barner. He has been with Seattle for two years, so not exactly a rookie player. Though looking at his stats up to this point, he has been able to make some improvements in a good way. He is in another tight end role, similar to Elijah Arroyo, averaging 11.5 yards and 81 yards in total thus far. Even though he only had some progress starting from Week Two and up. His stat numbers are only increasing from here with no signs of a decline at all, but the looks of things.
Our final player for today is Josh Jobe, who is a cornerback for the Seahawks. He has made a total of 17 tackles so far this season. Hopefully, he can get more time on the field and secure more tackles as well. If they keep him on the active roster as much as they can. He can surely be a successful tackler for the team, at least that’s just what I think.
These four players have all shone in their own ways, not just in their careers, but also for this season so far. If each of them can keep up this same amount of momentum and energy on the field. I think we may have a successful season on our hands. As long as these four and the rest of the team all work well together anyway. I look forward to seeing the growth that these players could make on the field in the weeks to come.
