Giants Wide Receiver Depth Chart: Who's on the Rise Behind Nabers?

NFL

The New York Giants have been steamrolling through their offseason programs. In the wide receiver room, all eyes have been on Malik Nabers. Some major developments are happening to try and build on for Giants head coach Brian Daboll's 2025 offensive line. Training camp is going to be an eye-opener for Big Blue. The Giants already have a crowded receiver room, and with at least several different talents that are next to or above Nabers. They have yet to establish themselves for this coming season.

Wan’Dale Robinson, the 2022 second round pick has been looking pretty sharp during this past spring's off season training. He’s recovered from a torn ACL from the 2023 season and started to show some flash late last season. He looks quicker and has more confidence in running the routes out of the slot. The coaching staff is already happy with all of the work Robinson has put in and his versatility. There have already been early signs of him becoming Naber's counterpart in the receiver sets.

Jalin Hyatt is another receiver to watch and has shown progress of expansion in his route tree. He is considered to be a burnout after last season, when his numbers plummeted and he could not get his head in the game where it needed to be at the time. This offseason, this receiver has really pulled himself together. Hyatt is a speedster when he really puts his mind to it. This wide receiver has made it a point to work on his footwork and timing. If Hyatt can get himself to be a little bit more consistent during the upcoming training camp, he may be able to step in as the WR3 spot or even push Robinson.

Darius Slayton is the Giants’ most experienced wideout. Slayton's chemistry with former quarterback Daniel Jones and his knowledge of the offense have made him very reliable. He can continue to do so, especially for the new face of their new veteran quarterback, Russell Wilson.  His roster spot, however, is not guaranteed despite the progress he has been showing during the Giants’ offseason.

The Giants are working their way up to being on the same level as several other NFL teams around the league and may have a chance to prove what they have got for this coming season. They definitely have the speed, size, and skills. However, after last season with Nabers having a breakout year, he will continue to lead the wide receiver room. The next few weeks are going to definitely be critical in showing who can round out the Giants receiver room and who can be number two this season.
