Is Seattle Able to Pick Up the Slack in Week 13?

NFL

Seattle managed to turn things around last week against Tennessee, a team that did not really have a chance of winning that game. With their low record so far this season is notwithstanding at all. Even if they had ended up just one touchdown away from tying up the game to end it all. Though Seattle did not give them that chance to seep into the cracks for sure. While the season is getting down to the wire as we get closer to the playoffs, room for mistakes is slimming more over time. Much like the chances of securing yet another Super Bowl trophy if they keep slipping up, much like they did in Nashville.

That does not mean that they are not allowed to improve the team's play style at all for the remaining weeks. With a possible replacement for Tory Horton coming this upcoming Sunday, hopefully, we are in talks. Along with a few of Seattle’s linebackers in Ernest Jones, Tyrice Knight, and DeMarcus Lawrence, all under questionable and or non-playing participation status going into Week 13 as of last week’s injury report listings. This isn’t the best look for Seattle and their season record if they are trying to stay onward and upward from here on out. Unless they can find players, who are competent enough to sub in for participation on Sunday against Minnesota. Though Seattle does have some possible luck on their side with it being a home-field advantage this weekend.

The next six games will determine whether Seattle can reach the playoffs. They must secure enough wins while minimizing mistakes on the field. Their performance in Tennessee and previous victories show the momentum they are capable of, but consistency is now crucial. Seattle must set and surpass clear goals in order to achieve postseason success, especially given the mounting pressure as the season's end approaches.

Seattle could write a good story this season, or at least that’s how I feel, anyway. Despite all of their faults and problems that have happened up until now. There needs to be sharper execution, even sharper than it has been before now. Uncertainties may be a roadblock for a lot of teams. Though I believe that Seattle is personally strong enough to move past them, especially, and very much hoping for a clean victory against Minnesota this weekend too.
