Is Seattle up for a Steamroll to End off the 2025 NFL Season?
The Seattle Seahawks are showing signs of keeping things strong as we close out the 2025 NFL season. With a 9-3 record under their belt, surely a lot of the mistakes that have happened with the team this year must have clicked in their brains to fix almost immediately. Could this two-game win streak and Week 13 blowout against the Minnesota Vikings be the same hot streak the Seahawks had for six games in a row a few weeks ago? Perhaps, maybe a lot of the other teams that Seattle has faced have started to falter more in their own play styles. Not that the Seahawks aren’t absolutely, positively perfect as of now. They still can improve in some areas, hopefully going into their upcoming game against the Falcons this weekend. So let’s look into which spots specifically they can improve on to help keep things running smoothly.
For starters, DeMarcus Lawrence was all over Vikings quarterback Max Brosmer. Lawrence, who had a forced fumble in that 26-0 victory, showed that’s how a defensive lineman should be acting out there on the field. Even if Brosmer was a rookie and did not have too much experience, if at all, to deal with Lawrence’s pressure. The setup and energy that was shared between him and Ernest Jones, who recorded two interceptions during the game, was nothing short of magical. Something that should be kept in Seattle’s hands to help close out the season for the remaining five games for sure. This duo was just part of the magic that helped Seattle get back on its feet.
After losing three more players to the bench in the injury report last week, this shows the constant substitutions that keep adding up as the weeks go along for the Seahawks. We are now just five games left in the season. Five more chances for Seattle to clean up their mistakes, albeit minor and not totally costing them the entire season outright. Let’s just hope that Seattle can hold on for just a bit longer as we close out the season. Hopefully, being able to keep up against the Los Angeles Rams and win the NFC West Division. Now, as for what they could end up playing like in Atlanta, that’s left to be seen. I hope that Seattle can end things off on a high note and be a sneaky Super Bowl contender no one is talking about.
