Seattle in Need of Improvement After Minor Slipup Against Rams in Week 12
The Seattle Seahawks had quite a close call last night, even if they ended up taking the loss to the Los Angeles Rams. Though this only means that their record is 7-3. Even if most Seattle fans would have expected it to be an 8-2 record going into last night's game. After all of that, the game wasn’t a total disaster for all things considered. Even if it had started that way. Now, we should look ahead at how Seattle can move past this minor misstep of the season. Maybe they could get their good luck back that they had up until the very end.
They would need, first off, to improve their defensive line a little bit. That was the main factor that had cost them the win at the end of the fourth quarter. There would also need to be improvements in terms of field position and team synergy as well. Being able to connect more plays, touchdowns, and catches is key out there on the field. While also not wasting so much time on the clock, and using a timeout right at the end of the game. It wasn’t so much the distance in yards that was an issue. It was more on a timing front, with just seconds left on the clock for Jason Myers to make that game-winning field goal.
The road to the top is a much heavier slope now. However, I believe that Seattle has a chance to pick itself back up again. As long as they don’t let more and more mistakes seep through the cracks left and right, like it has happened at times so far this season. One close call like that shouldn’t define Seattle’s legacy. It should be known as a lesson that they can hopefully learn from. Using whatever they can to improve on the missteps that were taken in last night’s game. Turning those mistakes into greater strengths for the rest of the season and beyond that. There are still a few weeks left for Seattle to turn into a dangerous force, hopefully starting in Tennessee when they face the Titans next Sunday. The window of opportunity to bounce back is still open, even if it is closing slightly and slightly more as more time is used for the 2025 season.
