Seattle Is Still in Need of Improvement Even After Their Last Two Wins

NFL

After two back-to-back wins, fans may think that Seattle could just be having an early-season fluke. That may be a possibility, but it may also mean that the rest of the season could still be full of ups and downs from week to week. Although they steamrolled the Saints this past Sunday, this Seahawks team is still in need of improvement. With a win of 44-13, that was the biggest blowout for Seattle this season. Could this mean that there might be more blowouts like this in the future, or will there be more close, nail-biting games on the horizon?

There were a lot of factors that played into how successful that game had been, with George Holani and the special teams on the lineup being one of the saving graces. Though another one could be the help from coach Mike MacDonald himself, His own thoughts on what the team could do to improve were interesting to say. “Talk about decisive, shocking, relentless. I thought we were those things, but especially on defense, there is room for growth. We can learn from extended drives. We will look at the penalties and see what went wrong there, and if it was the cost of doing business or on the other end of the spectrum.”

Then again, that also is the case with a lot of teams overall in terms of needing improvement. With a really strong beginning, an interesting middle, and then a steamroll by the end. It’s an easy-to-digest formula that Seattle could probably try to figure out how to keep that streak going. Even if they only have a few days left between now and then to figure out a solution by Thursday. Whether or not that even comes to pass is believed to be seen. Fans can surely hope and wonder whether or not the Seahawks can have this same exact body and mindset for this next game and beyond. I, for one, personally hope to see another victory, maybe one as much of a surprise blowout as this one, or something intense to watch while Seattle still comes out on top next week.
