Should ‘The Aus-zilla’ Split From Raw’s Top Faction Upon His 2026 Return?

The Vision has gone through many changes since its inception less than a year ago. One of those major changes was the absence of ‘Big’ Bronson Reed, who has been out of action since February 2026 after tearing his right bicep during a Triple Threat Elimination Chamber Qualifying Match against El Grande Americano and Jey Uso. ‘The Aus-zilla’ has been active on social media, showing how hard he has been training in preparation for his return to the squared circle. There is one question that remains, however: should Reed return as a member of The Vision or should he split from the group and go on a major singles run?

Before having to step away from a WWE ring due to injury, Reed had enjoyed quite a bit of success during his time in The Vision. He entered a feud with the ‘OTC’ Roman Reigns, even picking up a victory against him at Crown Jewel 2025. ‘The Aus-zilla’ would make it a habit of stealing Reigns’ sneakers whenever he had the opportunity, earning him the nickname’ The Tribal Thief’. The former NXT North American Champion was considered the powerhouse of the group alongside Seth Rollins and Bron Breakker. Unfortunately, the group began going through unforeseen changes due to untimely injuries. After Rollins went down with a legitimate injury, he was booted from the group. The Vision then added Logan Paul and Austin Theory into the group before ‘The Aus-zilla’ had to step away from in-ring competition due to injury. The Vision has since added Maxxine Dupri into the mix, while ‘The Oracle’ Paul Heyman has seemingly decided to leave the group to fend for itself. If Reed chooses to return as a member of The Vision, he will be joining a group completely different from the one he originally joined.

Reed could easily come back into The Vision and dominate on Raw as a top star. However, with the way ‘The Aus-zilla’ was being booked as a monster heel before he suffered the injury, is it really necessary for him to go back into the group, or could he just use the star power that he has and carve his own path? The Vision’s decline as a group has been really noticeable on WWE television, from having a group led by a world champion to ending up in midcard feuds, straying away from the main event. One of the biggest consequences of The Vision’s decline is Breakker’s position in the company. Reed was booked as a huge star and seemed poised to capture a world title at any moment. Now, the former NXT North American Champion has been reduced to being a tag team wrestler. ‘The Aus-zilla’ could find himself in this exact situation, but if he ends up deciding to stay away from the group, he could very well find himself challenging for world titles. The alternative would be Reed coming back to The Vision for a bit before turning on the group and going solo.

‘The Aus-zilla’ has shown that he is determined to come back bigger and better than ever, and he’s preparing to take over on Raw. This could end up happening, but only if he walks away from The Vision. If he chooses to return with the group, then it should be a temporary stay; otherwise, he could end up fading into obscurity. If Reed returns as a singles star, then Raw better be ready to throw down against the monster from Australia.
