Steelers Release Their Training Camp Schedule
The Steelers have released their training camp schedule for this year. The players will report to training camp on July 23rd. The first practice that’s open to the public will be on July 24th at 1:55 p.m. EST. Most of the Steelers’ practices will begin at 1:55 p.m. EST this year. This is a notable change from last year when the majority of the team’s practices were held in the morning. The time change aligns with the Steelers’ old training camp model, where they had afternoon practices. The Steelers' training camp is held at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. 2025 marks the 58th year that Saint Vincent College has hosted the Steelers' training camp.
The Steelers’ first padded practice this year will take place on July 29th. It’s also scheduled for 1:55 p.m. EST. The yearly highlight of Steelers training camp is the “Friday Night Lights” practice. It will be held on August 1st at 7 p.m. EST. “Friday Night Lights”, which is very popular with fans, will be at Latrobe Memorial Stadium. On August 9th, the Steelers will be in Jacksonville to play the Jaguars in a preseason game at EverBank Stadium. A total of 14 practices will be open to the public. The final public practice will take place on August 12th at 10:30 a.m. EST. The Steelers and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are having a joint practice at Acrisure Stadium in Pittsburgh on August 14th. The joint practice is not open to the public. On August 16th, there will be a preseason game between the Steelers and the Buccaneers at Acrisure Stadium.
Admission to open practice is free; however, fans must have a mobile ticket to attend. Tickets will be available via Ticketmaster starting June 24th. Early ticket access will be granted to season ticket holders at 10 a.m. EST. Wait list members get access at 11 a.m. EST. All remaining tickets available to the public will become available at noon. There is a charge for tickets to NFL preseason games. Prices for preseason tickets can vary, but fans can view prices and purchase tickets through Ticketmaster. The weather can also affect the Steelers' practice schedule. Fans should check Steelers.com and the team’s social media pages for schedule updates throughout training camp.
