Week 14 Fantasy Football Winners

NFL

Week 14 is over, and at this point, I don’t think anyone understands what is happening. The 5-8 Vikings are the first team since 1992 to fall victim to a shutout and then shut out their next opponent. The 3-10 Saints defeated the 7-6 Buccaneers 27-20, behind Tyler Shough’s best fantasy performance of his rookie year. Meanwhile, the Bills have lost to Michael Penix, Tua Tagovailoa, Drake Maye, and Davis Mills, while defeating Joe Burrow, Lamar Jackson, Patrick Mahomes, and Baker Mayfield. This NFL season might be the most unpredictable one in recent history, allowing for the craziest matchups in the playoffs and towards the Super Bowl. Before we get to Super Bowl LX, let’s recognize some stellar fantasy performances of Week 14.

QB Shedeur Sanders (33.46) and TE Harold Fannin Jr. – (25.4 Fantasy Points)

Expectations were low in a game that featured two rookie quarterbacks on struggling teams. If anything, fans expected the Browns defense to destroy Cam Ward behind a bottom-10 offensive line. The Browns held a small halftime lead and scored two late fourth-quarter touchdowns to put themselves in a winning position. However, they missed the first two-point try, forcing Cleveland to attempt another two-point try, which also failed, resulting in Cleveland losing the game. Questionable playcalling aside, rookies QB Shedeur Sanders and TE Harold Fannin Jr. had themselves a game. Sanders completed 23 of his 42 passes for 364 yards and four total touchdowns to one interception. Eight of his 23 completions were to fellow rookie Fannin, who went for 114 yards and a touchdown. This game marks the first time that Fannin broke 100 yards in a single game, and the first time Sanders broke 300 yards with multiple touchdowns. While both careers are young and they lost the game, shutting out any playoff hopes, the futures are bright for these two stars in Cleveland.

RB Tony Pollard – (28.1 Fantasy Points)

In the same game that ended in Tennessee’s favor, there were not a lot of “firsts” for Tony Pollard, who has been in the league since 2019 and with the Titans since 2024. However, there are a lot of “first times since” for the former Cowboys’ RB. His 25 carries for 161 yards and two touchdowns mark the first time since Week Two of 2025 to have more than 20 carries, Week 14 of 2024 to have more than 100 yards, Week One of 2023 to have two touchdowns in a single game, and Week 11 of 2022 to have more than 25 fantasy points. Pollard was a draftable player but fell short in almost every week of 2025, making himself comfortable on the bench of smaller leagues. I would not bank on Pollard replicating this success in fantasy playoffs, as almost 22 points came from his long runs that ended in the endzone.

RB RJ Harvey – (22 Fantasy Points)

Just a month after the Denver Broncos signed J.K. Dobbins from the Chargers, RJ Harvey was drafted in the second round of the 2025 NFL Draft. The duo was expected to be explosive from the jump, resulting in Harvey being one of the most drafted rookie backup running backs in the entire league. Dobbins was placed on injured reserve after an illegal hip drop tackle in the Week 10 win over the Raiders, opening the door for Harvey to take all the carries. In the three games since Dobbins’ injury, Harvey has recorded two top-five RB fantasy performances. In the Week 14 win over the Raiders, Harvey recorded 100 yards on 23 total touches, scoring a singular touchdown. While those aren’t groundbreaking numbers, his usage and performance have become more consistent, rewarding those who drafted the Denver handcuff. With Dobbins unlikely to return to the field in 2025 and on a one-year deal, the Broncos may let the former Raven test free agency again and double down on the rookie RB.

WR Michael Wilson – (37.2 Fantasy Points)

An oversight by me, Michael Wilson, somehow did not make the list of weekly fantasy winners in Week 11, where he had 15 receptions for 185 yards, totaling 33.5 fantasy points. Wilson must have read the article and demanded his recognition. In the Week 14 blowout at the hands of the LA Rams, Wilson answered his own breakout game by recording 11 receptions for 142 yards and two touchdowns, recording 37.2 fantasy points. Since Marvin Harrison’s appendectomy and heel injury from a month ago, Michael Wilson has taken advantage of Harrison's absence by recording 39 receptions for 481 yards and two touchdowns in four weeks. Wilson, who is only 25 years old, is making a case for himself to be fantasy-relevant in the future.

K Brandon Aubrey – (24 Fantasy Points)

It is no secret that Brandon Aubrey has a leg on him. While his fantasy production from the Thursday night shootout loss against the Lions came from the distances, Aubrey drilled five field goals in a single game for just the second time in his career. Connecting from 29, 42, 55, 57, and 63 yards, Aubrey becomes the first kicker to make three field goals from more than 50 yards out in a single game. Additionally, the 63-yard kick broke the record for most 60-yard field goals in a single season with three, formerly held by Aubrey and former Cowboys kicker Brett Maher, who each had two. Aubrey’s accuracy and power would have been inconceivable 10 years ago, and now it is a real thing. Aubrey deserved to be the first kicker off the board in most fantasy drafts, and he should continue to be each August until the Cowboys start to convert the empty drives into touchdowns.

Honorable Mentions

Seahawks D/ST – (20), QB Josh Allen – (37.84), RB Jahmyr Gibbs – (37), WR Puka Nacua – (35.7)

For the third time this season, the Seahawks defense has recorded more than 20 points in fantasy. Largely in part to the absence of Michael Penix and Drake London, the Seahawks held the Falcons to just nine points from three individual field goals from Zane Gonzalez and 274 total yards. The defense also recorded one sack, a fumble recovery, and two interceptions. On top of it all, new Seattle WR Rashid Shaheed returned a kickoff 100 yards for a touchdown, for the longest play in the 2025 NFL Season. Seattle looks to fight for more than just the NFC West with games against the Colts and Panthers, plus two important divisional games against the 49ers and Rams.

As for Josh Allen, Jahmyr Gibbs, and Puka Nacua, their performances were not one-offs. They have been dominating games all season, and this week is no different. Allen finished with 251 yards and four total touchdowns, completing 75% of his passes in a huge fourth quarter against the Bengals. Allen is a must-start due to his dual-threat ability and because the Bills are fighting from behind for the AFC East and a wild-card spot. Gibbs’ fantasy success this week came in the receiving game, catching all seven targets for 77 yards, but also in his second career rushing touchdown hat trick. There is always concern that Gibbs will lose fantasy points with David Montgomery on the roster, but that has proved not to be the case as Gibbs is the RB3 on the season. Lastly, even after not playing the last few drives, Nacua put up seven receptions for 167 yards and two touchdowns. At least one from the group of Allen, Gibbs, and Nacua is on fantasy playoff rosters, and their presence should undoubtedly help teams make and potentially win a fantasy championship.
