What Are the Top Bets Fans Can’t Miss for Week Three?

NFL

Week Three is finally here, and bettors have a full sixteen games of action. They are ready to take advantage of various good matchups. While betting can be a challenge to win, identifying and studying certain weaknesses, injuries, and matchups is often the key that separates winning from losing. Spotting these edges can be a great way to gain an advantage and maximize your chances of having success in the betting industry. Here are two can’t-miss lines that you can hit on.

Dallas Cowboys at Chicago Bears

Over 50 (-110)

The Dallas Cowboys and Chicago Bears play Sunday at 4:25 p.m. EST in Chicago. The weather is supposed to be perfect playing conditions at 73 degrees with slight winds. Both defenses are dealing with significant injuries. In the past two games, the Cowboys allowed 404 yards and 30.5 points per game to the Eagles and Giants, while the Bears were not much better, allowing 382.5 yards and 39.5 points per game against the Lions and Vikings. This shows you how bad both defenses are, and with the amount of injuries each team is facing, the defenses aren’t getting better. We all know that the Cowboys offense will show up as Dak Prescott is playing at an MVP level, and he has high-level, skilled players. The Bears' offense has been solid, as Caleb Williams' mobility will give the Micah Parsons-less Dallas defense fits.  The Cowboys and Bears will be without their top cornerback, DaRon Bland and Jaylon Johnson, respectively. This will affect the teams so much since the Cowboys will be starting Kaiir Elam as their number two cornerback this week, who is in the top five in yards allowed to wide receivers. Last week, when the Giants played the Cowboys, they made Russell Wilson look like one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL, throwing for 450 yards. Additionally, it impacts the Bears with Johnson because he’s their best coverage guy and is a veteran presence in the secondary. They also lose depth in coverage, which forces younger, less experienced defensive backs to cover one of the best duos in the NFL. I anticipate the Bears moving the ball with ease in this ball game, especially at home. This sets the stage for a high-scoring affair where both teams will capitalize on the defense's vulnerability. Fans and bettors should be ready for an action-packed, old-fashioned shoot-out at Soldier Field this Sunday.

New York Jets at Tampa Bay Buccaneers

Tampa Bay -6.5 (-110)

The New York Jets and Tampa Bay Buccaneers face off this Sunday at Raymond James Stadium in Tampa, Florida. The Jets will be without their starting quarterback, Justin Fields, who is in concussion protocol. This is really bad for them because they have to start journeyman Tyrod Taylor. The Buccaneers defense has been surprisingly good in the run game this season, only allowing 76.5 yards per game.  In Week One, they held one of the best running backs in the league, Bijan Robinson, to 24 yards rushing. This means that they will have to control the line of scrimmage and force Taylor to throw the ball, which frankly is not the strength of the Jets. Without Fields' ability to run the ball, and with the Bucs controlling the line of scrimmage, I do not see the Jets having much success vs the Bucs defense in Tampa. Add the fact that Tampa’s high-powered offense, headlined by Baker Mayfield, Bucky Irving, and Mike Evans, seems to be in mid-season form, and I see the Bucs having their way with a weak Jets defense that has given up 32 points per game. Ironically, they made Aaron Rodgers in Week One look like he was Baker Mayfield. Tampa will control the tempo, move the ball efficiently, forcing the Jets to beat them through the air, and win their home opener easily.

Week Three allows bettors to make some serious money. You can expect the Bucs to cover their spread, and the Cowboys and Bears game to be a shootout. You should take advantage of these matchups before the line goes up. If you parlay the two bets together, the odds will be +264, meaning that if you bet $100, then you will win $264.46!.  That is some easy money, ladies and gents!
