Which of These WWE Superstars Should Win the Final Money in the Bank Qualifiers?

WWE

During the May 30th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, we learned that Naomi and Andrade will be joining their respective Money in the Bank ladder matches. Naomi took a sneaky win over Nia Jax and Jade Cargill while Andrade got the huge upset on both Carmelo Hayes and Jacob Fatu. So far, on the women’s side of the Money in the Bank match, we have Naomi, Alexa Bliss, Roxanne Perez, Giulia, and Rhea Ripley. For the men, it’s Andrade, Solo Sikoa, LA Knight, Penta, and Seth Rollins. This upcoming Monday Night Raw will hold the final Money in the Bank qualifiers. Both of these final qualifiers are stacked with so much talent, anything could happen, which makes this year’s match all the more intriguing. With the Money in the Bank premium live event card filling out slowly, these two ladder matches may overshadow the rest as the WWE Universe is ecstatic to know who will be running around with the briefcase once again. However, everyone wants to know who should take the final women’s and men’s qualifying spots?

Final Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifier - Ivy Nile vs. Liv Morgan vs. Stephanie Vaquer

It was announced during this past episode of SmackDown that Stephanie Vaquer will be joining Monday Night Raw, and her debut will be her Money in the Bank qualifier against Liv Morgan and Ivy Nile. On the May 27th episode of NXT, Vaquer shockingly lost her NXT Women’s Championship after 77 days after being defeated by Jacy Jayne of Fatal Influence. Morgan returned to Raw this past Memorial Day after filming a movie in Japan for several weeks and was defeated in a match by Kairi Sane after Roxanne Perez and Raquel Rodriguez got into an argument ringside. While Nile hasn’t been given much time on Raw over the past several weeks, she’s certainly an underdog heading into this match and could somehow walk out with the upset over some of Raw’s biggest names.

The in-ring capabilities of everyone in this match will certainly keep fans on their toes, but there’s no doubt, at least in my mind, that Vaquer is the favorite to win this match. The Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match already has former NXT talent like Roxanne Perez and Giulia. It would be a no-brainer to have Raw’s newest addition win the match and have La Primera showcase her abilities on a big stage like Money in the Bank. I believe we’ll see more Judgement Day shenanigans, as it seems like this group will implode one way or another. This will ultimately cost Morgan the match and perhaps her relationship with several members of the Judgement Day. Nile certainly has a chance to upset La Primera and Morgan, yet with this match being announced three days before its supposed to happen, I believe Vaquer is the perfect candidate to win this qualifier and move onto Money in the Bank, June 7th.

Final Men’s Money in the Bank Qualifier - CM Punk vs. AJ Styles vs. El Grande Americano

When looking at this qualifier, I really see CM Punk as the favorite to win. His experience in Money in the Bank matches, his beef with Seth Rollins is too good to pass up. There’s a good chance Rollins’ faction interferes in this match and takes out Punk. Yet, if there’s no mischief, Punk could be walking out heading to face his biggest rivals at one of the biggest shows in LA. AJ Styles has the potential to make his third Money in the Bank match and go on perhaps another World Championship run. With Styles wanting to retire at 50 years of age, this could be his chance to make one final run at being ‘The Phenomenal One’. This match could certainly have an upset in El Grande Americano, as his beef with the other luchadores on the main roster, like Penta, is also something a lot of folks would love to see. Perhaps, El Hijo del Vikingo steps in to stop El Grande Americano as El Hijo del Vikingo has a match with Chad Gable on June 7th at WWE Worlds Collide. Even a returning Rey Mysterio could debut back into the fold to stop El Grande Americano. My gut tells me CM Punk will move on to Money in the Bank, yet if Styles rounds out the list, his in-ring ability with someone like Penta, or Andrade, or even LA Knight like their feud from WrestleMania XL, this match will be epic to see.
