Who Will Help The Bloodline Against 946 After ‘Melo’ Returns to Join Them?

WWE

Last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw took place at the Brookshire Grocery Arena in Bossier City, Louisiana. The main event of the show saw The Bloodline’s Jimmy Uso and Jey Uso team up with their younger brother, Solo Sikoa, to take on 946’s Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price, with new member Jaida Parker at ringside. The two factions did everything in their power to end each other; it didn’t help that Raw general manager Adam Pearce told veteran referee Chad Patton to let them beat each other up and not enforce the normal rules for a six-person tag team match. Despite the chaos, violence, and high spots, the surprise of the night was a returning Carmelo Hayes joining forces with 946 and taking out the Samoans with a crowbar. Hayes hadn’t been on WWE television since August, leaving fans speculating that the former United States Champion’s time with the company was over. ‘Melo’ put those rumors to bed after the events of last night when the group ended the show on top by leaving the three brothers lying on the floor in pain. With 946 running over Jacob Fatu a couple of weeks ago, who will be able to help them out? Here are three people who could help The Bloodline.

Zilla Fatu

Zilla Fatu has only been with WWE for less than two months, but it hasn’t stopped WWE creative from booking him strongly in NXT. His first match was against Grayson Waller, Cruz Montana, and Tony D’Angelo in a Fatal Four-Way for the NXT Championship. Fatu came up short in his quest for the gold, but he’s looked strong in nearly every appearance since on NXT television. ‘The Main One’ is a part of the Anoa’i family. It also helps that he’s the son of the great Umaga. ‘The Samoan Bulldozer’ was known to be aggressive, athletic, unpredictable, and extremely strong. His son shares that with him. These are qualities The Bloodline desperately needs against 946, a faction built on similar principles.

LA Knight

This prediction looks abysmal on paper. LA Knight has despised The Bloodline since his main event push back in 2023. Knight would have beaten Roman Reigns in their first championship match had The Bloodline not been involved in their match. ‘The Megastar’ and ‘The OTC’ just had a match at Money in the Bank for Reigns’s World Heavyweight Championship. Knight had a near-fall after countering a Spear with his BFT in mid-air. The two would go back-and-forth throughout the entire match before the World Heavyweight Champion found a flurry of offense to retain against the challenger. ‘The OTC’ was seen acknowledging ‘The Megastar’s toughness, grit, and resilience despite all their bad blood. Knight also had a brief backstage interaction with Sikoa, saying that he understood why the former enforcer of The Bloodline would go to help his family and that the Samoan didn’t need to explain it. ‘Solo Dolo’ asked his friend if they were good, and the former United States Champion said they were. It remains to be seen if that comment was sarcastic or serious. Knight has had his own issues with 946, being taken out alongside The Bloodline during the new faction’s debut. He seems to be the X-factor in this entire equation.  ‘The Megastar’ might see the evolution of 946 as a bigger threat than The Bloodline ever was, or maybe he just hates The Bloodline too much and everyone who associates with them. He could even choose to stay neutral in the situation and allow things to play out without interfering.

Sami Zayn

WWE just started promoting their Crown Jewel premium live event coming up. It takes place at the Riyadh Season Stadium in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on November 7th. Sami Zayn won his first Undisputed WWE Championship in Saudi Arabia after beating Cody Rhodes and Gunther at Night of Champions back in June. One of the promo posters had Zayn booked to take on Reigns in a Champion vs. Champion match at the upcoming Crown Jewel PLE. This could be the event that slowly sees ‘The Last Real Good Guy’ rejoin The Bloodline and reprise his role as the ‘Honorary Uce’. This isn’t the same Zayn that Reigns is used to. ‘The Last Real Good Guy’ has become more like ‘The Tribal Chief’ than he realizes, manipulating events to play out in his favor nearly all the time while stopping at nothing to get whatever he wants. ‘The OTC’ has followed through with his promise of no outside interference in his most recent championship run. The two could have a 30-minute match that sees them embrace and respect one another post-match. Zayn can solidify himself as a legitimate champion with a strong showing against his former ‘Tribal Chief’. Reigns could see the evolution in his former ‘Honorary Uce’ and find a way to bring him back into the family. It’s been ‘The OTC’s mission to bolster the numbers of The Bloodline, and what better way of doing that than to bring back ‘Sami Uso’, the guy who helped the faction reach their peak, during his peak. Bringing them back together now could see a new high in The Bloodline storyline that’s been playing out since 2020.

It’s confusing why Reigns hasn’t been involved with The Bloodline-946 saga. Keys is going after his title and family, while ‘The OTC’ found a way to convince Fatu and Sikoa to spearhead the 946 problem for him despite their own problems with The Bloodline. It hasn’t worked so far, and it portrays Reigns as the heelish ‘Tribal Chief’ who leaves his family high and dry and views his family as beneath him. Sure, he’s focusing on defending his World Heavyweight Championship cleanly, but it might not be long before he’s all alone without any help if he doesn’t do anything about 946. The whole dynamic would change should he involve himself in the 946 problem, but it remains to be seen if the new faction is just too much for The Bloodline.
