Who Will Leave France Triumphant at Clash in Paris?

WWE

WWE returns to Europe as France is set to once again host a PLE, this time it will be Clash in Paris. With this being WWE's final Premium Live Event on Peacock before the move to ESPN, WWE will look to give Peacock audiences a proper sendoff. Two championships are set to be defended, and scores are to be settled in what promises to be a wild night of action. Here is an in-depth look at the matches set to take place in Paris and who is predicted to go over in each match.

World Heavyweight Championship - Seth Rollins vs. CM Punk vs. LA Knight vs. Jey Uso

Every superstar challenging Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship has a vendetta against the champion. CM Punk, who’s had a very long rivalry against Rollins, wants to reclaim the gold he only held for five minutes at SummerSlam after Rollins, who faked a knee injury during a match against LA Knight at Saturday Night’s Main Event, unexpectedly returned and cashed in on Punk to become a two-time World Heavyweight champion. Knight was unable to handle his business with Rollins following the “injury.” After losing an opportunity to win the championship due to a disqualification,  Knight now has Rollins in his sights. Jey Uso has had problems with Rollins’ faction following WrestleMania 41 and even teamed with Roman Reigns to defeat Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed at SummerSlam. Uso vows to win the championship he never got a rematch for. All three men have struggled to stay on the same page against Rollins, to the point where they have attacked each other, giving Rollins and The Vision the upper hand. Expect The Vision to get involved in this match and help Rollins secure the win.

Prediction: Seth Rollins retains

Women’s Intercontinental Championship - Becky Lynch vs. Nikki Bella

Nikki Bella made her return to WWE following a three-year hiatus at the Royal Rumble. A few months later, during an episode of RAW, Bella made it clear she was back to have an extensive run with the company. Bella’s planned feud with Liv Morgan changed, however, when Morgan went down with a shoulder injury. Despite the setback, Bella has competed in a few matches following her return and now has her eyes set on Becky Lynch and her Women’s Intercontinental Championship. Lynch, who’s had an amazing 2025 following her heel turn in April, has helped elevate the Women’s Intercontinental title, and vows to continue to push the women’s roster to new heights, even if it means beating the respect out of a legend like Bella. Seeing Bella hold the Women’s Intercontinental title would be a sight to behold, but Lynch has proven she is more than capable of carrying the women’s midcard championship on her back.

Prediction: Becky Lynch retains

Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook Match - Sheamus vs. Rusev

Both men are coming into this event having each won a match against the other, followed by a third match that ended in a double count-out. After multiple brawls that had to be separated by WWE officials, RAW General Manager Adam Pierce announced that both men would collide in a Good Ol’ Fashioned Donnybrook match. Sheamus is no stranger to this match stipulation, as he has competed and won in both matches that were contested under these rules. This match will surely steal the show, and Rusev, who is competing in his first PLE since his return to WWE back in April, needs this win as much as Sheamus does.

Prediction: Rusev wins

John Cena vs. Logan Paul

After completing a face turn and dropping the Undisputed WWE Championship to Cody Rhodes at SummerSlam, John Cena looks to end the final months of his career on a high note. An open challenge made by Cena would be answered by Logan Paul. Cena had previously teamed with Paul in a losing effort against Rhodes and Uso at Money in the Bank. Now, Paul is determined to put a premature end to Cena’s career. Cena responded to Paul’s threats by mentioning how, instead of embracing WWE for the opportunities they have given him, he instead has leeched off of them for internet clout. Although Cena should go over in this match, there is a looming threat hanging over Cena in the form of Brock Lesnar. Cena will be cautious throughout this match, but he should go over nonetheless.

Prediction: John Cena wins

Roman Reigns vs. Bronson Reed w/ Paul Heyman

The Tribal Chief finds himself in a tough situation now that he is on a lonely island, without a Wise Man, without a Bloodline, and without a world championship. Now, Reigns must find his way back into the world title picture, and that begins by taking care of The Vision one by one. After Paul Heyman turned his back on Reigns to align with Rollins, Reigns has made it his mission to get even with Rollins. However, Rollins has gained some backup in the form of Reed and Breakker. Reed has gotten the best of Reigns on multiple occasions, even going as far as stealing Reigns’ sneakers twice and deeming himself The Tribal Thief. If Reigns wants to pursue another championship reign and dethrone Rollins, he’ll have to overcome Reed first.

Prediction: Roman Reigns wins
