Who Will Win the 2025 Butterfield Bermuda Championship?

For the second week in a row, the PGA Tour’s FedEx Fall heads to a tropical paradise with 120 players in the field. However, this trip won’t include much relaxation. The Butterfield Bermuda Championship marks the sixth of seven fall tournaments, with the season wrapping up next week at the RSM Classic in Sea Island, Georgia. That leaves just two more chances for players to break into the top 100 in the points standings—the benchmark for securing full-time Tour status. In addition, those who rank in the top 10 across all fall events will earn spots in the first two signature tournaments of 2026. The tournament will take place from November 13th to November 16th, and here are two candidates most likely to win.

Nico Echavarria

That’s the situation for Nico Echavarria, who has momentum after another strong showing in Mexico last week. The Colombian climbed into the top 10 on Sunday before ultimately finishing 14th, and his combination of precise ball-striking and deft putting should serve him well. While his three previous starts in Bermuda haven’t produced better than a 23rd-place finish, he’s proven himself in breezy, coastal conditions—with a win in Puerto Rico and runner-up results at the RSM Classic and in Hawaii earlier this year. For Echavarria, it is time to bring this title home, as he has been knocking on the doors for this tournament for several years.

Victor Perez

In a field short on established contenders, I’m especially intrigued by a seasoned player like Victor Perez—someone in strong form, hungry for a win, and proven under pressure on the DP World Tour. A three-time winner internationally, Perez’s standout victory came at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, where he displayed his trademark ball-striking prowess in challenging, windy conditions. That same skill set has served him well on coastal PGA TOUR layouts, where he’s recorded three top-20 finishes on similar wind-affected courses over the past year. Perez is inching closer to his long-awaited first PGA TOUR title, with five top 10s in the past 12 months. This week marks his debut at the Butterfield Bermuda Championship, but he arrives at Port Royal with confidence after notching his second top-20 finish in three weeks.
