Why the ‘Boujee Bully’ Should Win the 2026 Women’s Money in the Bank Match
The fifth Women’s Money in the Bank Qualifier took place during the September 25th episode of Friday Night SmackDown between Charlotte Flair, Giulia, and the ‘Boujee Bully’ Lash Legend. In the midst of the match, Giulia hit Flair with Arrivederci and then a Northern Lights Bomb, and it appeared the former NXT Champion was going to win and qualify for Money in the Bank. However, Legend immediately pulled Giulia off and used her finisher, the Lash Extension, pinning her to get the win. Now, the ‘Boujee Bully’ qualifies alongside Roxanne Perez, Sol Ruca, Lola Vice, and Jacy Jayne.
Last November, Legend was called up to the main roster and attacked Alexa Bliss, allowing Nia Jax to win over Flair. At the end of the month, the ‘Boujee Bully’ would compete in the Women’s WarGames Match with Jax, Becky Lynch, Asuka, and Kairi Sane. A few months later, at the 2026 Royal Rumble, Legend was the 15th entrant and eliminated five superstars before being eliminated by Rhea Ripley. On the February 27th episode of SmackDown, the ‘Boujee Bully’ and Jax defeated Ripley and Iyo Sky to become the new WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions. They would lose the titles 50 days later, at WrestleMania 42, to Brie Bella and Paige. Both Legend and Jax failed to regain the titles at the May 23rd, 2025 edition of Saturday Night’s Main Event. Then, at SummerSlam, the ‘Boujee Bully’ was part of the WWE Interim Women’s Championship Ladder Match, where Chelsea Green captured the gold.
Through almost a year on the blue brand, WWE has seen how valuable a superstar Legend is. Her athleticism at her size, along with her strength, makes her a new breed of WWE superstar we haven’t seen before within the Women’s Division. Seeing both Legend and Jax form The Irresistible Forces was great, given both women’s size, strength, and the fact that both are heels. However, the ‘Boujee Bully’ should receive opportunities that should allow her to shine as a singles star.
Even if WWE wants to keep Legend as a heel, allowing the ‘Boujee Bully’ to win Money in the Bank means she could be a huge threat to Green and her WWE Women’s Championship reign. The Irresistible Forces could easily obliterate Green, especially if the WWE Women’s Champion is without her friend, Tiffany Stratton. Whether Stratton is taken out of the picture completely or she turns on Green, that would give way for Legend to become the next WWE Women’s Champion. Legend could be a threat to Stephanie Vaquer’s Women’s World Championship; however, if the ‘Boujee Bully’ were to win, she’d most likely stay on SmackDown, as her husband, Trick Williams, is on the same brand.
Thus far, all five competitors in the 2026 Women’s Money in the Bank Match are cornerstones of WWE’s future. Legend winning the briefcase would certainly be a big surprise to the WWE Universe. The ‘Boujee Bully’ could be on a trajectory that perhaps she couldn’t even project by winning Money in the Bank. It will certainly be interesting if WWE pulls off this move.
