How Will ‘The Ruler’ and Je’Von Evans Get Along Against The Vision in 2026?

This past episode of Monday Night Raw took place at the Frost Bank Center in San Antonio, Texas. WWE has been rolling since its most recent stint in Mexico, signaling that the company is trying to give fans what they want and deserve. One way WWE has been doing that is by focusing on pushing younger WWE stars. They’ve pushed certified superstars like Bron Breakker and Oba Femi. Those two have been booked so strongly that they both should hold the company’s top gold before the end of the decade. The push of younger WWE talent seems to be spreading throughout the roster, particularly in this year’s Women’s and Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder matches. Sol Ruca, Raw’s newest call-up, Lola Vice, WWE Women’s United States Champion Jacy Jayne, and Roxanne Perez are the first four qualified competitors for the Women’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match; out of these four women, Perez is the most tenured on the main roster, and she was only called up last year. Breakker and WWE United States Champion Trick Williams are two of the three young WWE superstars qualified for the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match alongside wrestling veteran Pénta; ‘The Unpredictable Badass’ is the main roster veteran among the four confirmed competitors, though he has been on the main roster since 2024.

​The other confirmed competitor in the Men’s Money in the Bank Ladder Match happens to be the youngest WWE star on the main roster. Je’Von Evans qualified last week after defeating Austin Theory and Big Cass in their Triple Threat Money in the Bank Qualifying Match. Evans is one of the youngest WWE stars of all time, debuting on NXT television at 19; he’s only 22 now. There are other young superstars, but ‘The Young OG’ fits his nickname perfectly for how he carries himself on WWE’s main roster. He doesn’t walk around like a rookie but improves greatly every week. The sky is truly the limit for him.

​Evans and Breakker bumped into each other backstage, which led to an impromptu match shortly after. It was a tightly contested match. Towards the end, ‘The Young OG’ was in position to hit ‘The Unpredictable Badass’ with an OG Cutter before Theory pushed Evans off the top rope, causing a disqualification. The Vision, along with Logan Paul, Bronson Reed and Maxxine Dupree, continued their beatdown on the youngest main roster star before Femi made his return to Raw after getting beaten up by The Vision a few weeks ago. ‘The Young OG’ and ‘The Ruler’ temporarily teamed up to take out The Vision and stand tall before commercial break. A social media post shortly after was posted, showing both young superstars walking to the back together in a sort of alliance. Femi ranted about how he intends to dismantle The Vision, while Evans called his shot on being the youngest Money in the Bank Ladder Match winner of all time.

It’s intriguing to see WWE creative putting them together given their history. These two are no strangers to each other. They’ve fought over the NXT Championship three times, with Femi coming out on top each match despite strong showings from Evans. It makes sense for now since ‘The Young OG’ has nothing to do until Money in the Bank and ‘The Ruler’ is facing The Vision by himself. The numbers game has gotten the better of the 2026 King of the Ring winner before last night. Their paths are likely to diverge after this year’s Money in the Bank. In the meantime, they could both benefit from a temporary alliance. Evans’ biggest problem in the ladder match is Breakker, and Femi has been having problems with ‘The Unpredictable Badass’ after retiring Brock Lesnar at SummerSlam and having his match at Sunday’s Night Main Event against Breakker to determine the future of WWE end in a disqualification by a returning Reed. ‘The Ruler’ and ‘The Young OG’ have no reason to turn on each other right now. They both need one another to take down a common enemy. They have the willpower to put their past behind them for now to focus on the present. This could even lead to an unlikely friendship between the two.

​This pairing would be interesting if Evans wins this year’s Money in the Bank briefcase and if Femi wins the World Heavyweight Championship next year. ‘The Young OG’s’ high-flying offense fits perfectly in a ladder match. There are other people in that match that deserve it as well, but WWE creative has the chance to push Evans as a young superstar on the level of Femi or Breakker, both of whom are WWE’s brightest young superstars. It seems clear that WWE creative has big plans for all three of these superstars. The youngest WWE main roster wrestler, however, seems to be getting the short end of the stick. WWE could push Evans closer to that status as the youngest Money in the Bank Ladder Match winner this year. Whether the youngest WWE main roster wrestler cashes the briefcase successfully on the 2026 King of the Ring winner remains to be seen. WWE continues its trend of long-term storytelling. This temporary alliance between ‘The Ruler’ and ‘The Young OG’ against The Vision should be an evolution in their young, yet promising, rivalry.
