Why Trick Williams Should Win the TNA Championship at Battleground
Trick Williams and Joe Hendry are set to face each other over the TNA Championship at WWE Battleground. This will likely be the main event as it pits the two biggest stars on the TNA and NXT brands, respectively, against each other. Since TNA and NXT reached an agreement on a multi-year partnership for talent crossovers, fans have been anticipating potential matchups such as this one. However, both companies have the opportunity to pull off a massive swerve by crowning Trick Williams as the new TNA Champion.

Beating the Prestigious One for the TNA Title would benefit him and TNA because a WWE superstar is holding a title from an outside brand. TNA would get a new audience, and fans would be tuned in, even though the shows are taped. Williams can even play it off by saying something like he gave TNA the extra boost it needed.
