Can the Chiefs Bounce Back Against the Lions?

NFL

The Chiefs, coming off a very frustrating loss to the Jacksonville Jaguars, are about to take on one of the toughest teams in the NFL. The Detroit Lions have put up 30+ points in every single game so far this season, besides one, which is incredibly impressive. The Chiefs, on the other hand, just lost 31-28 to the Jaguars Monday night in Jacksonville, which has to be one of the most disappointing parts of the season, considering that they had a chance to get to 3-2 and hop above the .500 mark record-wise. No doubt being at home in KC will help the Chiefs when it comes to taking down the Detroit Lions this upcoming weekend, but they will need to bring their A game and be incredibly prepared.

Jared Goff, leading the Lions to their red-hot 4-1 start to the season, is without a doubt playing the best football of his career so far, and we are only heading into Week Six. He has been passing the ball incredibly well and really giving the Lions the momentum that they need to succeed. The Chiefs will need to play well in all aspects, including passing, running, and defensively, if they want to even up their record at 3-3 this coming Sunday in Kansas City at Arrowhead Stadium. It will, without a doubt, be a tough game.

Overall, these two teams are both incredibly talented. They are both led by very well-respected coaches and have star QBs as well. A big thing to look out for this week is the Chiefs' defense, because we all know that the Chiefs' offense knows how to consistently put points on the scoreboard. Hopefully, Chris Jones and Trent McDuffie can step up big time because the defense will be key in winning this game. I also would love to see the run game step up, since Isiah Pacheco has not had a very promising season so far, unfortunately. As a whole, the Chiefs have a lot to prove to us fans if they want to win the Super Bowl, or at the very least make the playoffs this season. This game will be a good test for the team, and hopefully, they can get back in the win column.
