Giants Look to Stay Strong as They Take on Denver

NFL

The New York Football Giants look to continue their win streak by taking on the Denver Broncos in Week Seven. They have done a great job and are ready for more in the coming weeks. Jaxson Dart and the Giants have pushed through to keep their energy alive. The Giants sit at 2-4, and the Broncos look favorable with 4-2. Here are several areas to look at for the Giants in this game.

Broncos Defense vs. Giants Offense

The Broncos have a strong defensive line. That said, it puts everything with the Giants in question with their offensive line. The Giants need to work on protecting Dart more in this game. They have done great, but the Broncos lead the league in sacks and know how to get after the quarterback. Big Blue will have no issues if it can follow through on its quick snaps as it did in Week Six against the Eagles.

Giants Defense vs. Broncos Offense

On the upside, the Giants have a very favorable defensive line. They have rebuilt the unit, and it has become a strength for the team, and the line follows through on many of their plays that they have been able to put an end to. Having edge rushers Brian Burns and Kayvon Thibodeaux has really made a difference. The Broncos' offensive line has been up and down, but they will likely lean on their run game with J.K. Dobbins. As long as the Giants stay on top of him, the points will remain minimal on the board for Denver.

The Giants Running Game Won’t Be a Problem

The Giants’ run game has been on par for several weeks. Cam Skattebo, who has been doing a lot of work for the Giants, is getting the ball up the field. With Denver’s defense being strong, Skattebo won’t be easily able to break through as he has since the beginning of the season. Dart also has Wan’Dale Robinson, who has also been used in fakes and jet sweeps in the past several weeks. It won’t be easy, but the Giants do have a good chance to put up a fight in this game.
