The Bloodline vs. 946: Is Raw In-Ring Debut Setting Up 2026’s WarGames?
946’s Royce Keys, Bronco Nima, and Lucien Price have been giving The Bloodline’s Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Jacob Fatu massive problems since their debut a couple of months ago. Last week saw the surprise main roster debut of Jaida Parker, who ended the previous installment of Raw by running over Fatu and telling him, “No one’s safe,” while he was lying out in pain before getting into Keys’ car. This past episode of Raw saw Roman Reigns confront The Usos about not being able to give orders to ‘The Samoan Werewolf’ and slam them for not putting 946 away. Reigns vowed to take care of the problem himself. Raw general manager Adam Pearce was seen later talking with The Bloodline in a backstage segment, where Pearce announced that next week will see the main roster in-ring debut of 946 taking on The Bloodline. The Usos were happy to hear that ‘The OTC’ was going to tag with them, but the World Heavyweight Champion had other plans. Reigns shocked everyone when he revealed that a returning Solo Sikoa would help The Bloodline take care of the 946 problem.
This was shocking for a couple of reasons. Sikoa has despised his family since Reigns returned at SummerSlam in 2024. ‘Solo Dolo’ has vowed that he’d never want to rejoin The Bloodline as his brothers did so easily. Reigns’ former enforcer has despised ‘The OTC’ since the aftermath of WrestleMania 40, even proclaiming himself to be the new tribal chief until losing in a Tribal Combat match last year. Sikoa was even willing to help out LA Knight take out his family since he hated them that much. The two friends have been feuding with The Bloodline for the past several months, and they were at odds with them even when 946 started to disrupt the main event scene on Raw. This all changed a couple of weeks ago when 946 kidnapped ‘Solo Dolo’ and abandoned him. A cellphone video captured the events as they unfolded. The new group left the Samoan to rot and die alone in a forest, but it seems that ‘The OTC’ was able to find his former enforcer and convinced him enough to take care of this new problem.
How does the match unfold next week? Based on this week’s Raw, there are several routes WWE can take. The most obvious one is to have the match never start and have the two factions brawl extensively to end the show. 946 has made it clear they don’t care about laws, let alone rules. They’ve burned cars down, kidnapped, abandoned, and run over people. Parker’s surprise addition to the group also gives the new faction an edge in the numbers game. They can spark some controversy and end next week’s Raw by doing something highly illegal or unthinkable to anyone from The Bloodline. It’s likely they’ll single out Sikoa, since they know he doesn’t like his own family. Keys, in particular, has pointed this out numerous times.
Let’s say there is an actual match, though. There’s no world where 946 loses their main roster debut match. They have to win on their main roster televised debut. They have the numbers game, once again, and it’s clear that Reigns wants nothing to do with them. Fatu just got run over by a car, so it’s unlikely he’ll even be in the odds next week. Parker could cause significant distraction, interference, and confusion at the ringside. This could get under the referee’s and The Bloodline’s skin to the point they’re mentally not in the match. NXT’s most recent call-up could even hit a low blow or provide her new faction a weapon to use in order to ensure their victory. Sikoa is likely to take the pin in this case. It makes Reigns look smart about promoting The Usos as his right-hand men, and it puts ‘Solo Dolo’ in an even more vulnerable spot than he was in before. Knight could potentially even the numbers game, but that seems highly unlikely since he hates The Bloodline just as much, if not more, than Sikoa. ‘The Megastar’ might even be upset with Sikoa for being willing to help his family out. The former United States Champion displayed a more tweener, slightly heelish side that he hasn’t shown in several years during his promo battle with ‘The OTC’. Maybe that was a foreshadowing of a surprise heel turn.
WWE has notoriously ended matches via disqualification this year. A DQ in this match has to be executed perfectly, or else it’ll hurt the momentum of 946. They are hellraisers with nothing to lose, but in order for the WWE universe to treat them and see them as legitimate threats to any WWE gold, they have to win their first few televised matches. The same goes for a no-contest. That could work if the new faction decides to take everybody out, including backup referees and security, but it would benefit them more if they won their debut match. The message would be clear, however, if they just take everyone out after the bell rings without any decision being finalized in the ring.
It seems clear that WWE creative is setting up The Bloodline to take on 946. The two factions have been feuding over the past several weeks. Each passing week has seen an unexpected evolution into this new rivalry that exponentially increases the odds of them unleashing hell on one another inside a structure like WarGames, where the main rule is to win via pinfall or submission, with no need to worry about disqualifications or countouts. If the teams all stay the same, it also gives room for Naomi to return and join The Bloodline alongside her husband, ‘Big Jim’. We haven’t seen a mixed WarGames match before, and this would be a great time to experiment and see if it works. Who knows what other surprises WWE creative has in store for us with this insane storyline?
